My interview was a miracle. I got approved yesterday and the interview goes thus:

1 ) how long have u known ur husband?

2)do u have a child?yes

3)does he have a US passport? Yes

And dat was it! Visa approved.thank u all for ur support.am happy dat this Christmas will be the best with my husband.wish u all that is still waiting goodluck

Congratulations, ours was also completed on Sept 27.we also waiting for interview date.

Pls how do you know if your case has been reviewed and also completed? Is the nvc going to send you an email or....?

(2)which hospital is best to do my medicals in Nigeria

My husband is currently unemployed and receive unemployment income weekly.he has worked nonstop since 5years so he can provide tax transcript.we also have some who can be a sponsor.my question is what form should my h

usband(the petitioner fill and also the cosponsor.or should I wait for him to get a new job before submitting. the AOS package because I don't want any thing that will affect our visa esp at the embassy.meanwhile we also have a child.thanks

But should I wait for husband to get a new job before submitting the AOS package mi don't anything that will slow down or affect me at interview.

We got approved after 1 year and7months.we.are getting ready for nvc.my.question is that my husband is currently unemployed and presently collect unemployment money from the government.He is planning to get another job ASAP but we need to send document to nvc now.we are thinking of getting a cosponsor.we.are family of 3 because we also have a child now what forms and document does our cosponsor needs and what forms does my husband also needs and documents.he has been working over 4years before he lost his job this january.thanks.all

You are not alone.my NAO1 is sept 15.initially in VSC and later transfered to VSC.it going to be a year in 2weeks.I only hope and pray

Its 11months and still waiting for my NOA2.we have contact congressman,called every week.but the response is still to waiting.our petition was with CSC initially and later transferred to vermont after 5months.it s now been with vermont since 6months ago.my noa1 date is sept15 2011.I sent an email lastmonth and this was the reply I got today:

As you have been told previously, the processing of the petition/application has been delayed. All petitions and applications received by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services are required to have routine security checks. This is resulting in delays of the adjudication of petitions and applications. We have no control over how long these security checks will take; therefore, we cannot determine when they will be completed.

Pls has any one ever been through this?or any1 in the same situation.how long can the security check take before completion.

My case is now 11months today and no NOA2.its in CSC and transfer to VSC after 5months.presently its has spend 6months with VSC.we have called ,involved congressman but the response was that they are doing additional review.don't know what else to do.so you are not alone.

The expedite was sent by 6months.there response every time is to wait.the last response we heard was that they are still onn background check onn the beneficiary.so we are i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ the waiting game still

We filed back i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ sept15 last year.our petitn spend 6months i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ CSC and after a service request,its has been transferred to VSC,its now ova 3month agn with VSC.all together 9month+.we have try to call,congressman has been involved.M̶̲̥̅♈ husband called agn last week and the OP said it still under additional review.meanwhile we already have a child and he has a USC passport already.what else can I do.M̶̲̥̅♈ husband is so tired.so we initially filled for K1 i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ 2010 before we got married,but I was refused because the CO think our large engegemt party looks like wedding,so he said we should goo through the marriage route.now here we are agn,....was thinking of a tourist visa at least to spend some time with M̶̲̥̅♈ husband because he can travel now due to his new job.pls help.the whole process is killing ♍ƺ.

Our aint marriage at all.but the engagement party was large,that why the CO feel it marriage.I just hope everything should work out fine after the long wait.thanks all for the reply

Its going to 8months now.so I have to wait for additnal six months,all together is a year n 2month.God I hope I survive this

Here is M̶̲̥̅♈ story.M̶̲̥̅♈ k1 was denied last year cos the CO think our engagement party looks like marriage,so he said we should filled for spouse visa.we already have a child.we got married and filed for spouse visa sinces sept lastyear.our case was i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ california,after six month,its was transferred to vermont.we made service request all d response is still WAIT.we hubby already inform his congressman,but the congressman said he has not heard for dem that we have to wait for 2weeks.I called today and the operator told ♍ƺ that we have to wait for another 6months,and if by then we don't hear anything then we called back.he said our case is still under review.but he advice,if we have a gud reason,we can expedite.I don't no what to do.I reside i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ nigeria,and M̶̲̥̅♈ son already have his america passport through CRBA.pls what can I do to speed up thing.pls,fellow VJ member,help a sister .
