  1. I went through a similar situation except, she showed up pregnant for her medical exam at st lukes. I notified the embassy immediately and pulled petition. You need to file for divorce and deportation procedures. If you wait too long after finding out this information, it will look as if you knew all along and if you try to file another petition, it will be denied. Once her status gets adjusted you are totally screwed. It is apparent that someone is waiting to get your money. She may be already sending to him. Like someone posted, this forum is not the place to solicit help, you need to contact USCIS immediately. This is what you face when you meet someone online, chalk it up to a bad experience and move on! We all take this risk.

  2. If you want to pursue thing with ICE, pick up the phone and call. Don't wander around VJ building up support. Take your shot with reporting it. That's the only way to know if what you have as evidence is going to make be sufficient. My understanding is that you have to present a strong case for ICE to expend energy.

Also, divorce and move on from the marriage. Trying to exact some sort of "payback" is ultimately a waste of good energy.

  3. Hello everyone, I received a text message and email today, telling me that my petition was approved yesterday (15th Aug), NOA2 in mail to me. The rest is easy from this point on since I have done this before (previous wife killed in auto accident 12 years ago). Wish the best for those who are still waiting.

  4. Even though some people who have February NOA1 dates have gotten approval, VSC is still behind schedule. I spoke to someone on Friday, 10 Aug and they told me they were on January 16th. It is hard to speak to a live person. The trick is to push the option that says "are you experiencing technical problems with system". That will get you a live person. Then say they that you did not hear the option you were looking for. Their priority seems to me (1) military (2) people who have never filed K1 before and all documents are correct (3) all others. I fall in the all others category because I filed K1, 4 years ago and then the lying girl informed me the night before her medical exam that she was pregnant with another man's child. Some of them you just can't trust no matter how much they say they love you.

  5. You did not state if your clearance is civilian or military. If it is military you will temporarily lose it if you did not get permission to marry a foreign national prior to filing petition. Been through that already. Mine was revoked for 6 months while they did a background check on my wife. I was well above a basic TS. You need to speak to our security officer and they will tell you. Mine was revoked for marrying a filipino so I can only imagine marrying someone from China.

  6. Hello everyone. I have a question. I am currently submitting a K1 Visa petition and I am wondering if I can expect problems because I currently hold a TS (Top Secret Clearance) for my Job. Does anyone have any experience or advice then can give me in a situation like this? My Fiance is Chinese. We intend on being completely honest about everything. Will we be denied because I hold a TS clearance? Is it possible I can loose my Job? Thanks again for the expert advice =)

  7. CFO is required by the Philippine Government, not the U.S. Embassy. You do this after interview. If it is not done she will be denied exit from Philippines. This is something the Philippines started several years ago to make some money off of its people who were going abroad. Many many years ago, they tried to make its citizens pay philippine taxes on all income generated abroad to include include of the foreign spouse. I have close to 40 years experience dealing with the Philippines. Use to live there. CFO is simple and painless (they just want some money from you). They will give you form or sticker inside your passport, this is your proof that you attended. Once you leave the country, you can burn it, frame or whatever. Remember this is a Philippine requirement only. This process is not new to me so if you need to know anything else, please ask. I have done K1 and K3. I have helped many others bring their loved ones to the U.S.

  8. Hello all,

My case has been completed in NVC and now is being forwarded to the U.S Embassy in Manila, PH

I just need some details about CFO. Can my wife take the class anytime now or does she need to wait until after her interview.?

Anyone who experienced this, i need some info and also if it is required. thanks in advance VJ !!

  9. The NOA2 does not contain what to send to beneficiary, it is just a notification. Since I do not know what country your fiance is from, can't provide much help. Suggest you go to the U.S. Embassy website for that country. If it is the Philippines, I can tell you that you can download the info from the embassy website. If it is K1, then package 4, if K3, then package 3.

  10. Can anyone pls tell us the content of NOA2?

We received the email NOA2 last July 6 and until now we still didn't get the hard copy.

We called NVC and they said they already forward our case to US embassy and gave us our case number. Now we already scheduled the interview date, which will be on Aug. 23.

We believed that NOA2 contains the instructions for the Petitioner on what documents to prepare to be sent to the beneficiary... and we dont have any idea what the NOA2 contains...

Can anyone pls share and help us with our concerns... it will be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance...
