  1. Good afternoon guys, I sent my N400 application on 2/1/2017, and went for fingerprints on 2/13/2017, today is the 9/2/2017

my status still FINGER PRINTS APPOINTMENT, on 6/26/17 I inquired about my cause and I got on 8/16/2017 I got a letter saying

that my cause is still pending "SECURITY CHECK", then today I got another letter from USCIS stating that they have recently

sent me a "FINGERPRINTS NOTICE" re-scheduled me for fingerprints this coming 9/11/2017.....ANY IDEA WHATS GOING ON???????

*note: I have a clean record, thanks god.

  2. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! When you say last Thursday do you mean Apr 26th?

Question: Did you have to pay the $230 for the IV to NVC and at the Consulate? "Please keep in mind that the US$160 nonimmigrant visa fees and the US$15 service fee for the official verification of your personal records, must be paid at any branch of Banco Popular. These fees cannot be paid at the Consular Section."

    Thank you.

Hey, i dont know what are talking about? i adjusted my status from withing the USA. i was already an student on a F1 visa, i did not have to pay anything but the AOS application fee, plus the medical examination.

    DOES THAT HELP?

  3. We were approved last Thursday. We were the last couple to be interviewed.

During the interview, the only question we were asked was were we met. Then

the interviewer told us to show what we brought with us, from there on I

was the only one talking and showing our proofs of our relationship.

After the interview my wife was actually laughing because it looked

that I conducted the interview, jajaja.

To conclude, the interview lasted about 10 minutes, and then the interviewer

said, "I WILL NOW GO AHEAD A APPROVE YOUR APPLICATION", then we waited outside

and waited for the stamp on the passport. :)

  4. Your post was moved because you said you are adjusting status from within the US from a student visa. A CR-1 is a marriage visa when the spouse is not in America.

You shouldn't have trouble adjusting. You were denied because you filed at the wrong time, but as the spouse of a USC you will now have a visa number immediately available.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! U MAKING ME FEEL BETTER.

  5. HELLOW GUYS, I AM A LITTLE BIT THINKING HERE.

I AM AN F1 STUDENT, SEVIS RECORD IS ACTIVE AND FULL TIME STUDENT

I HAVE AN APPROVED i-130 THAT MY MOTHER FILED IN MY BEHALF, SHE IS A US CITIZEN.

BY MISTAKE AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR, I APPLYED FOR AOS,

BUT MY PRIORITY DATE WAS STILL NOT CURRENT.

I WAS DENIED BECAUSE OF THIS.

NOW, I MARIED MY WIFE (USCITIZEN) AND I APPLYED FOR AOS AGAIN LAST MONTH.

DO I HAVE ANY REASON TO WORRY.?

HAVE ANY ONE BEEN IN A SIMILAR SITUATION?

  6. I HAVE A QUESTION, A FRIEND OF MINE FILED AN ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS BASED ON APROVED I130 FILED BY HIS MOTHER,

HE FILED WHEN HIS PRIORITY DATE WAS NOT CURRENT, USCIS THEN DENIED THE CASE BECAUSE

OF THIS, UP TO NOW HE HAS NEVER VIOLATED THE TERMS ON HIS F1 STATUS.

NOW HE MARIED HIS US CITIZEN GIRFRIEND. MY QUESTION IS? CAN HI APPLY FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS EVENTHOUGH HE HAD A CASE DENIED THAT WAS NOT HIS FAULT.?

  7. I AM AN f1 STUDENT, I APPLY FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS BASED ON AN APROVED 130 FILED BY MOTHER ON MY BEHALF WITH PRIORITY DATE MAY 19 2005 . THAT CASE WAS DENIED BC THE PRIORITY DATE WAS NOT CURRENT AT THE TIME I FILED.

SO, I MARIED MY GIRLFRIED WHO IS A US CITIZEN. AND WE HAVE A JOINT SPONSOR WHOSE INDIVIDUAL ANNUAL INCOME IS 50K, BUT THIS JOINT SPONSOR HAS 4 DEPENDENTS, IS HER ANNUAL INCOME ENOUGHT TO MEET THE POVERTY GUIDELINES.?
