I am emailing him 20 more pictures that he will take to interview with western union receipts. I told him to not talk to strangers outside the building because of all the scams I read about on here for Haiti embassy line up. I also told him to get there at 530am if he can so he will get in and relax. Barbie, we have went over it all and I am still so nervous and glad I am not going to interview with him because I don't like the idea of being interrogated about what I feel for someone,that would drive me NUTS!!Okay calming down. I have been already sweating hard about the questions and possible answers my fiance will give and now to add to that the embassy in Haiti emailed me an interview date of July 24. I contacted my fiance who then said "No baby, it is on July 20th". Needless to say we went back and fourth about it so I am just wandering has anyone else received two interview dates as well and should he just go on the 20th? The email I received also said that we needed more evidence to support our relationship.We have given them Pictures of us from 2010, 2011 and 2012 such as us at my birthday party in Jacmel,Haiti, us at his home in Carrefou, us with his mom in Dominican Republic and with many family and friends at their homes and in different locations, at the beach and party's.They have copies of my passport showing all my times to visit him, cell phone records and trip itinerary of recent trips and of the past, with us even shopping at the market, eating at restaurants and even laying in bed having breakfast. I can not think of any thing else that we can provide them to satisfy their curiosity. I was told western union receipts but if anyone knows of something else I am missing please respond quickly as the dates are very close. I have videos as well should I send a DVD(smile)

Hello everyone! We got our NOA2 and I am wondering what to tell my fiance to do next after it passes the NVC.

After we recieve packet 3.5 we do medical and then pick medical up and then take packet to the Haiti Messenger? And do we submit all the paperwork including evidence with the packet?

When and where do we pay the visa fee and how much is it?

How much is the Haiti Messenger fee?

my fiance paid 350 for visa at Songebank in Haiti. Packet 3 we received gave two fees 240 and 350,, very confusing. It also said that Haiti Messenger was 10 dollars to send papers to embassy, but the place charged my fiance 20 dollars. The rates for things in Haiti change as they see fit obviously. Yes, after you get package it gives you a list of doctors. The one we used took 5 days but only cost 150. I will post this doctor when I have the paper in front of me and yes you submit all the newest evidence because they already will have the initial evidence. Send affidavit of support, another intent to marry letter (recent),with all his paperwork your letter from employer stating your length of employment and how much you earn, I even sent a letter from my credit union showing what I had in there for the previous year.So send as much proof as you can. We are waiting on interview at this point and trust me it does get better. Went to the mailbox today and there was my NOA2. I ran to the phone and called my fiance. I couldn't breath!!! I didn't know it would feel like this. Thank you God for answering my prayers. Thank u Vj and all the members that helped me. I love this site!!!

Yes it has been very calm in here. Maybe everyone just was busy for the holidays and trying to stay busy to keep their mind off the awful waiting times. I know I have been focusing on any things I might have left out and going into what if mode , so I am just waiting to see who filed right before me and how they processing along. 1 year tax return is all that is needed (where does this three year thing come from over and over, there is no such requirement)

I was just going though this and when i saw you, I knew I would get the right answers..I was wondering the same thing about the 3 years of taxes??I heard this so much it made me nervous cause what i did two years ago and how much I earned two years ago is different do to changes in the cost of living..,So thank you so much.I feel a lot better about my situation.

This is something i have been struggling about, it is cleart on the USCIS website that Haiti beneficiary have their case expedited. Hwoever when my wife and i called to ensure we obtain it, there were acting like they are not aware of this decision on the website and they asked us to provide supporting documents related to our expedite request. So we made a request under pregnancy as my wife currently having some complications during her pregnancy. We faxed some documents and a note that her doctor gave her. 2 days after, officer Mina, responsible for expedite called my wife and saying that he wants to approve our request but to ask our doctor to send a normal letter not just a note. So my wife contacted the hospital and asked them to fax her medical information to immigration last thursday. So we are waiting for today and tomorrow to see what the officer will say this time and if our request is approved.

I would suggest that u made a request and do not expect your case to be automatically expedited at USCIS website pretends it.

I would like to know what that list of reasons to expedite are? and good luck to you. I hope you are able to be by her side before the baby comes,that would be so wonderful and thank you for responding.

called this morning and they are no longer offering to expedite petitions because of the natural disaster (earthquake) I called this morning. She gave me a list of reason to expedite but none applied to me. I told the customer service rep about what I read on the website. But I guess since it's been two years now they no longer offer expediting.

That was depressing to hear and I was so hopeful that they were still getting help. Anyway, that's what happens when they think nobody is looking..but we are and that's unprofessional to not update such an important issue. Our loved ones are still having hard times over there. Anyway wait we shall and pray we will! Thanks for checking it out.

i filed the I-129f in October (i am in my 3rd month of waiting) and i am still waiting, so i am assuming there are no more expedites for haiti...even though the website still says they are expediting.

i know many members say that USCIS doesn't update their website very often, so i am assuming that is what is happening here.

if anyone hears differently, though, i would LOVE to know, so that i can call and request an expedite as well!!!!

Thanks and after reading post here, I guess they just failed to update.That update was from March last year so,I guess they think it's all better in Haiti now(NOT!).

I know there was a post on expediting petitions from Haiti and recently another Haiti flyer and myself read on USCIS that this is still in effect. What I wanted to know was anyone petition expedited any faster for them or the same 5+ months to receive NOA2 and Interview that everyone else has?

Read the I-864 instructions for household size. If you didn't claim any of the children on your 2010 tax return then you don't need to include them in the household size. If they were your children it would be a different matter though.

In General. The Petitioner is who gets the paperwork. NOA1 - NOA2 etc. The Beneficiary is lft in the Dark most of the time. I have a idea your NOA1 is in Transit Via Mail for the hard copy. If your approved for the NOA1 you already have a Number Issued

First, what did the guardenship papers from the court entail, second if you filed for the children on any tax papers then you accepted financial responsibility for them. The child that is no longer being filed, is it because they are filing a seperate tax for themselves.

NO THE CHILDREN ARE STILL MINOR BUT ONE OF THEM THE MOM FILES FOR HER AND THE OTHER ONE I DID FILE WITH LAST YEAR.. BUT HIS MOM HAS HIM A LOT NOW.

If you are a guardian to a child or children not yours biologically, and the parents still have legal rights to the child/ children, do you have to claim them as a part of your dependents when you do the Affidavit of Support?Or only your biological children?
