    Green Card Fee Payment issues

    My wife got Visa to migrate to the US and the US Consulate told her that she should make the green card fee payment after she receives the Visa and before she departs from the United States. I am making the fee payment on her behalf. However, in the Case ID field (which is the same thing as the NVC receipt number and added 01 in the end), the numbers limitation is only upto 0. For example, if her NVC receipt number is ABC2014000111, then her case ID number is ABC201400011101. However on the ELIS website (where you make the fees), you can only enter upto ABC20140001110 and not the last digit.

    Has anyone else had this issue? What should be done?

    Please let me know.

    I also have to pay my GC fees from India.$165. Did u pay using credit/debit card of a bank in India? Is it possible to pay using credit/Debit Visa card of ICICI bank?

    Hi all F4's

    I just had my interview on 13th march 2015. All went well and visa was approved.This is how it went.

    Our time was 09:30 am . But we reported at 0800 and to our surprise we were escorted directly inside.

    So advise everyone is to reach an hour earlier than time given.

    After security check was done, an Indian lady escorted us to the immigration visa section. For visitor and student visa there is a different section.

    We were made to sit and the lady asked each one of us( I, my wife &my son) to arrange documents in following order.

    1. Interview letter

    2. DS 260 conformation letter

    3. PCC

    4.Medical reports(Without CD)

    5. Copy of Marriage certificate(Separate copies are needed for Husband & wife)

    Then My wife who is principle beneficiary was asked to get the Token from the window.

    After our token was displayed we all went to the respective window where an Indian lady asked for our passports(Last previous passports if any are also taken)

    She took our medical reports, PCC, Copy of birth certificate and copy of marriage certificate(Separate copies are needed for Husband & wife).

    She gave us back all the original documents submitted with NVC.

    My son was told that he should not marry before getting GC and will have to enroll for Military services.

    We were again told to wait for our token no. to display.

    After display we went to the window where we were greeted by an American CO. First all of us were made to read the oath bu raising our hands.

    He started by asking my son what he was doing in India.How old he was. What was calling him. What she(petitioner) does. When she last visited India. How may children she has.

    Then he asked my wife how her sister first went to USA. Then he asked me what I do in India. Then for a few minutes he started searching on his computer and finally he declared that our

    visa are approved and will get your passports from your specified pick-up location within a couple of days. We were given a sheet of paper stating we will have to pay $165 for each person

    before coming to USA.

    We all said a big Thank You and left.

    The whole process took us less than 2 hours from entry.

    Advise : Please take enough copies of all documents as inside cost of one page photocopy is $1(Rs.64). Also keep coins (change) as they ask for exact amount. Nothing less or more.

    Interview letter containing 8 pages total have 5th & 7th page totally blank,are these pages left blank intentionaly,or something is missed. & immigrant visa application part 1 & part 2 in document status as "y". No instructions to fill ds260.what to do,I am worried.can u help,do u have any idea about this.thanks again.

    Immigrant visa application Part 1 & part 2 is ds 230 submmited earlier. "Y" = NVC already sent this to consulate. I filled ds 260 online even though i had filled ds 230. U sholud do the same and take printout of conformation page. They require it for fingerprint and interview. Hope this helps. I am Still waiting for I/L. Goodluck.

    No point in calling NVC now. PD 11april 02 got I/L. If vb for Feb is 15 April 02. Have to wait. Nobody after 11 April 02 RCD. I/L.

    Once it changes to N/A...it means there are no checklists for you and within a weeks time you should receive your case complete email and then onto the local consulate... :thumbs:

    Why did you wait for the 60 day review...you could have called NVC earlier.... :clock:

    Hi my pd is 16 april 2002. case completed in 2011. AOS fees paid. Visa fees paid. In CEAC site my AOS fees and AOS documents status shows N/A. My VISA fees shows N/A and also civil documents also show N/A. What does it mean. I had filed DS 230 in 2011. DO I file DS 260 ONLINE?

    Guys, just send the documents they have asked for. Mostly they ask for PCC of principle benificiery by sending checklist for submmiting PCC. It's best to get PCC for all after getting I/L . and present it at interview if they ask. But it's wise to get PCC even if no asked for before I/L. My PD is April 2002. Case completed way back in 2011. At that time they had asked for PCC of principle benificiery only by sending barcode checklist which i had sent.

    After they started PSK's maybe they don't ask for checklist letter for PCC. In PSK's website , documents required for getting PCC does not show "letter from NVC". or checklist for PCC.

    you I though you got the mail from NVC. If you are referring that then good luck getting PCC.

    If you get it send it if don't get it don't worry send rest of the document.

    if you wait for PCC you are wasting your one month.

    wait 9 weeks more........

    I think obama only concern is for the illegals . Not for us legals. He is eyeing his vote bank. Just like every politician.
