  • Our Story
We have met on january 19th of 2011 on Brazilcupid.com, became close friends, we used to chat everyday till finally decide that we could meet personally (it was on april 26th), we were so close at that point that we got engaged in the first meeting kkkk. After that we got married and decided the best place to live would be US. It would be so much easier for us if he could move to Brazil, but he has a good job there and three beautiful daughters that I have as if they were my own, so we applied for my spousal visa to move there. I also have two kids but their dad had told me he allows me to take them with me because he has no time to take care of them. So now the three of us are waiting for a light, an answer, a hope to get the whole family together, I found out about visajourney through him and decided it would be nice to share our experience here as long as this website provides a lot of useful info. So let's hope everything turns out ok for us, I pray everyday for that!!! Best wishes to all of you too!

My husband contacted his senator on february 3rd (our 5 months mark was february 1st) but when he replied to us he said that USCIS asked for more 30 days to process our case, that all the spousal visas have been a little bit over the processing time, anyways I am real glad they were able to process that before 30 days!!! Best of luck to you all!!!

Congratulations! Hurry and get all your papers in order. Things will move fast once your case hits the NVC.
