  1. ok here's the update we just go a letter saying we have a interview on the 31st of this month (July) I thought they waived it being we hadn't heard anything in over a year? being everything is expired are we going to have trouble? we was thinking we'd already would have had green cards by now. as for the passport we don't plan on leaving out of the country for at least 2 more years but when they come close to Texas again we are still going to renew them and the ap and work card well my wife just had a baby 2 months ago so she will not be working and if she does we should have a green card by then , my step daughter is only 9 why does she need one anyways right. Doesn't having baby show your legit? we have the marriage cert, social security cards as well and a expired Texas i.d card that just expired Someone asked why did you let all these things expire well when I go to work nothing is open and when I get off they are closed can't afford to take off work being I had to change jobs and the ex wife is killing me on child support. things will be a lot different in June of next year for sure any input on this will be appreciated.

  2. Ok long story short ,

My wife and step daughter arrived on July 20 2012, Had to wait to file for AOS about 6 months but got their social security card's, And we got married before The I-94 expired. We have called and keep getting the same thing wait 6 months then call back if nothing well it's been almost a year and will be on July 20th of this year. her work and travel card expired on the 12th of this month as well as her Texas I.D card. passport is expired as well.we just had a baby girl may 13th of this year. What can we do? who can we call and what are we to say? any help will be greatly appreciated.

  3. I see, on mine I've had two divorces and kids with the first wife but their just about grown now but my wife now has a daughter. The second wife was from the same country as my wife now and ran out on me after a year and a half? So far everything has moved pretty fast except me on getting this part done(the payment and filing for AOS) But as far as red flags i'm asuming you mean RFE's? haven't had any of them to slow us down as of yet? so were ready for anything that might come up? Like you said wait and see. Thanks

  4. So what's next we just finished with the bio's on monday the 13th, got all of the NOA1 for AOS,Work perment and travel perments, will we still go for a interview or will they just send the green card and work and travel perments? Also how do i adopt my step daughter want her to have my last name and want to change her first name being it's Jhana Mitch and she goes by Jamie. what do i do about that? Thanks

  5. Ok i'm trying to fill out the I-131 AP for travel it ask a lot of questions like since becoming a permanent resident which when we are filling this out are not? what to fill out and what not to fill out it's like your asking to go now it ask when you plan on leaving and so on i'm confused. anybody here can send me a copy of theirs to give me an example how to fill this thing out if so send me a PM and we can go from there. Thanks

  6. What if the i-94 has expired do you just send a copy of it anyways or is there something else i need to do? We already got the civil surgeon this week my wife has a social security card number but not with married name because the I-94 expired before we got the marriage lic. back trying to get her on my bank account today! we have pictures and proof of a real marriage also her daughter been in school since the start of school this year they have only been here since july 20th of 2012 we got married on August 11th 2012. so do i just send everything in as normal? Thanks

  7. Just wanted to let you know what happen and who to see and not see in the Dallas,TX area. Went to a place closest to my house same place i went to the first time i did this about 5 years ago now, This is the place not to go to and i will report to the USCIS and there panels of Civil Doctors!!!!!! The name of the clinic is (Dr. Pedro Yen, Vital Family Practice Center 1900 Oates Drive, Suite 138, Mesquite, TX 75150) Their staff are a bunch of dumb @$$'s didn't know what was going on and didn't even care! I went into the office explained what i was needing they insisted on a physical so i said how much is that and the one i was talking to popped off and said $450 each! i said very loudly i might add your full of ####### first off you don't even know what your talking about and didn't even ask either doctors there about it. You are taking advantage of these people and I'm going to report this place!Man it mad me so mad! Got back out in the car and looked up this site trying to find were some had recommended to go and I found it! Here's who you need to go to for your civil Surgeon the name is (Dr. Alfonso Ramirez, M.D. 1121 West Jefferson Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75208 (214) 943-5773) I called them up and ask a few questions before i drove all the way over there from where i was. The first question was are you familiar with getting transcript immunization record to I-693 form. she said yes right there i knew i had the right place, Then i ask how much and she said just to the transcription would be $35 each and if they needed physical TB test and so on it would be $72.50 with the getting transcript immunization included. i read that somewhere on here about that and that was in 2010 it was only $72 then! So i said when could you see us see told me and we were on our way. got there ask for Stephine which was who i talked to on the phone and they explained everything to me i went a head and got the physical and TB and everything for both just to be on the safe side being I'm doing the AOS 8 months after they arrived. Total out the door was only $115.00 can't beat that with a stick! Got to go back today for the TB results and they will explain everything you are getting and then put it in the envelope and give you copies then i will mail it with the rest of my paper work for the AOS. I'm telling you this if you live in the Dallas,TX area go see them they will take good care of you! Thanks for everybody's help.

  8. This might be a dumb question? But how do you know if your medical is complete? meaning i paid for all the medical for my wife now and step daughter before they came from the Philippines. but when they got here i had to get like 7 more shots for my step daughter for school here in Texas. how do i know if i go to a civil surgeon and they won't rip me off by given my wife shots she really doesn't need? also does my step daughter have to go to the civil surgeon too? Thanks
