Why don't you email Abu Dhabi embassy and ask for the update? At least they told you something !! I still receive "case in process" answer! no detail!

I'm on the same boat as you! We had the interview on July 18th,2011 in Abu dhabi. We were told to check the website as we are on AP. I emailed the embassy several times, they emailed me back with a very political respond regarding the time line. They said this process can takes time from 2 weeks to several months, even years.We are close to 3 months and we are still under AP. keep communicating with embassy via email and call State Department(202-663-1225) once a week to check the visa status. keep me posted as we have similar case with close interview date.
