  1. It is an emergency because military members have to leave everything in their life behind, on a short time notice, to go fight and maybe die for your freedom. So the least you can do is to show some sympathy instead of being so ungrateful questioning their eligibility

    I am being ungrateful? That doesn't make sense. Also, most applications will not be processed faster due to military deployment. Perhaps an EAD if they can show financial need despite the military member's salary. A I-485 perhaps, since if it is marriage based the spouse would have to be there. However, USCIS will allow someone to keep renewing their EAD instead of expediting a case like that. Summary: Just because you're in the military and you're deploying, doesn't mean uscis will always approve an expedite. :bonk:

  2. I think they should deny affidavits when all the people use is their ssi and unemployment to try to show they meet the minimum income requirements. Obviously, you aren't making any money and living off the government and more than likely so will the people they petition for, at least until the beneficiary gets an ead or green card, then they will work and take another job america doesn't have.
