how many days after the consulate interview did everyone get to pick their passport and paperwork back up? How in the world do i register with cargo express???? ugh i'm freaking out now that its crunch time.

Now with cargo expreso is simple first you go to this website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/hn/hn-iv-visaapplyinfo.asp

as far as i know they are basically a company that has a contract with embassies to mediate delivery of document and call centers for embassies, so they work with cargo espresso to physically deliver your passport. On that website you register and create an account put all the info they ask at end you will have a sheet with info and a bar code that you will take to embassy ( the sheet basically tells the embassy to what location you need your passport to be picked up sps or teg etc)

Look here is some info that will help is in spanish and english read it detailed

Not everyone wants to share or take their time to update their time lines (lots want to come and see how to do things but they dont share to help) , but some kind and helpful people from Honduras have share their consular experiences reviews in the honduras portal of this website. what i can see there is that is taking about 5 business days to get your passport back after interview.

what kind of problems did anyone run into with the doctors office? can the spouse go in with you or no? we made an appointment with the office of claudia bravo.

ok, there should be no problems as long as you dont have them, for example if you tell the doctor that you have consumed mari j then that could be a problem even if you say it was 100 years ago. (someone had that issue and they were told to wait months after 2 -3 drug test 3-4 apart ) . as far as paperwork go as long as you bring everything they ask you should be fine

    pictures tamano carnet

tarjeta de vacunas if you have any or you can go to any centro de salud and put the flu and tetanus shots free before the appointment that would save you like 50  dollars

all the information that they ask well typed ( you do not want to mess up your name or case number on forms)

Call the doctors office and ask for a detail list of the requirements and you should be fine

do not try to hide or lie about any tats they will ask you if you have any before hand.

past medical relevant history , any cir-juries

  4. Hi, If a person comes from another country with an immigrant visa and there is no one to travel with that person and that person speaks no English. How can a relative outside the security check point come in to meet the immigrant and serve as support for translation and company during border security check in and customs. Do airlines provide a translation service and are the airline employees willing to wait along the proceeds if they do?  I know that being an international entrance the easiest way is for the family member to take a plane fly and meet with the immigrant then come back together but mainly my question is that is there another way in a international airport? asking for a special permit to go international with a passport. ? any ideas or experiences?  thanks.

I am a USA citizen married to a Honduran woman. We have been going through the process for more than a year now. Our paperwork has all been approved at the NVC since June 2018 and we are waiting for her interview at the embassy to be scheduled. The documents have been approved by the NVC for almost 3 months now. How much time can we expect to get an embassy interview scheduled in Tegucigalpa?

Make the math according to last person post right now seems that thay gave dates to people completed in april and beganing of may. So you have another month to wait could be less .

Yes I am from Honduras, and I'm leaving in illinois. How much longer do you really think I need to wait. Please.??

It has been taking arround 5 months to get an interview in tegucigalpa at least reading what other honduras members share. Of course not everybody fills their timeline that would help a lot . But just out of calculation that is how long is taking .

If your case was completed in may 1 you should have a interview date already.

Let me ask you a couple of more questions .

Is your visa ir or f2 ?

Have you been deported or entered the us more than 1 time i ask because you mentioned that you have a 601a waiver that only covers if you entered 1 time but if you have multiple entries that will requiere another waiver someone with a similar situation found themselves on that predicament with visa denied and stock in Honduras for the next 10 years. Maybe you have a lawyer who cleared things out for you acording to your situation

What did they notified you on may 1 2018 that they approved your waiver or that your case was completed. Or that they recieved your waiver? When case completed is an email that says that they have all.they need to send to embassy

How much was the immigrating fee and where did you go to pay it? I've read about having to pay it but not seen anything about where nor how much.💸

Do you mean the Immigrant visa (IV) fee or the USCIS fee (after visa on hand you pay online right before you travel) ? If is the USCIS one i think is 220 or around that. On the department of state visa website is a link to pay it. But you only pay it once the visa is approved.

Our interview was August 17 at 10:15. The waiting line is outside the embassy. There is a person outside making sure you are in their list and organizing the line. Our time to go in came and first we went thru security like in the airport. No cellphones allowed. Then we went I a big room. Wait in line for an agent to check our paperwork, gave her only what she asked for, birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce decree, passports, I have 2, pictures, police certificate, and medical exam. She asked me my address in Honduras and where I intended to live in USA. Our wedding date, my birthday and why I had two passports. At the end she gave us back all the papers that we sent that they no longer needed, and asked us to wait to be called for the interview. Thru a speaker another agent called me, and we went in another room with another agent. First he greet us and asked my husband if he speaks spanish. He doesn't, so the agent said he was going to talk to me in spanish and then repeat in  english, I told him I speak english and he said good i will do the interview in english .He asked us to swear and took my finger prints again. He gave me a paper about domestic violence.

    Then he asked:

    1. When you got married?

    2. Where did you meet?

    3. How many time have you entered the USA?

    4. Do you have children's? (To the two is us)

    5. Have you been arrested by immigration?

    6. Have you been arrested by the police?

    7. Do you have children? (To me)

Then he said your visa is approved. Congratulations.

We picked up the packet the next Friday

Thanks a lot for sharing the embassy experience.

Thanks for your response, I was able to convince the doctor to see me, but everyone had the confirmation letter with the barcode and letterhead my concern now is that they will ask for that letter the day of the interview and they will not let me in if I don’t have it, I called the embassy and a rude guy didn’t even want to help and told me to call the NVC I called them several times and I’m getting different answers is not fair that I waited 18 months and for their mistake I will not be able to finish this process :(.

I dont think there will be a problem at the time of interview but maybe another person in this forum whom recently went could share with us if they had a problem with the letter at the moment of entrance. The one thing i know for sure is that you most have your ds260 co firmation page with its barcode at the moment of interview that is how they pull your actual aplication since now is electronic.

I called the NVC, they told me that they are trying to save paper and they don’t send any physical letter anymore and I should just print the email but I was in the hospital and a girl who was having the same case and a related interview day received the confirmation letter with the barcode so I’m anxious.

I think is a miscommunication between doctors office and Consulate/NVC if you call them (NVC) and be persistant a few times, the NVC can email or mail you one, but you really do not need it, the email is fine just copy and paste all the vital information and print it nicely so it dont look like an email. and see what they say. The only difference missing will be the bar code if they want barcodes then go to CEAC and print the invoice receipt and attach it with interview /letter/ email nicely printed (if after trying NVC a million times dont work)

1 NVC agent can tell you they dont do it no more another one that they will email you again, another may say they will mail it in 7 to 10 business days. ####### and another one may say they do not know what are you talking about, but if you get the same answer after calling them 5 times at least and you get the same answer then that is the correct consistant answer. Another option is to call the embassy and ask them directly remember that now your case is on their powers, so they will know how to handle the doctors mis-in formations. and there after the doctors will hopefully explain that to the nice receptionists.....

    Just giving you ideas .....

please let us know how it went .

There are at least 7 people whom already went thru this process recently and maybe they can share how the handle it. I hope they do.
