I'm sorry, I'm sure this has been asked before but . . .

for the list of documents to bring to the interview they ask you for an IRS Form 1722 listing tax information

for the past three years. . . .is this the same as or is it ok to just bring the tax transcripts from the IRS for the past 3 years?

I am in the same boat. Finished finger print on 24th June and still did not receive interview letter. (Garden City, New York)

Many lucky guys got letter in one month or around after finger prints.

I applied after 5 years, is it make difference if you file after 3 year or 5 year?

Still waiting for an IL even though on my NOA it said I could expect it within 90 days.

Does your N-400 case status get updated or "touched" after you have your biometrics done?? Mine hasn't and I am just wondering what is the norm. Thanks all.

Ha, all I know about my wife's case from checking the USCIS case status web site, it never changes since day one. Day one is the day I received her receipt notice as delivered to my mail box, that old fashion boxy thing that sits in front of my house, by a guy wearing blue driving a red white and blue mail truck with USPS written on the side. He delivered a letter from Nebraska giving us a receipt notice with that LIN*--- number on it. Since I was registered a long time ago, added that number to my list and that April 5, 2008 date showed up and hasn't changed since.

But did also get the biometrics appointment in the mail as well as her interview notice so I feel the most effective method of learning your case status, is to check your mail box.

Was getting concerned about wife's and daughter's ten year cards not coming in with Nebraska showing a July 05, 2006 processing date and their extension running out. But without any notice and wasting my time making calls, sorry, Nebraska is processing I-751's July 05, 2006, check back in a couple of years, both their cards were in my mail box without any notice whatsoever.

Has anyone here had their case status updated or touched since day one? Do I need to buy a new computer?

For all my other cases they were updated/touched; however my N400 has yet to be touched/updated. I am wondering if they are supposed to be touched/updated after you get your biometrics done. I thought they were, at least all my other cases had been (AOS / I-751). Has anyone else after having their biometrics done had their cases status for N400 show that it had been touched/updated?

Updated my stats and also was wondering. . . The NOA says to expect to hear something within 90 days; but the local office for Washington DC says they are processing from January 2007. What's the deal with that?? Are they trying to set false expectations?

Does everyone's receipt number have a * in it? This is my fifth application now through this journey and the first time I have a case number with a * in it, seems weird.

What do you all think? I sent in the N-400 on May 15, check was cashed on May 22, and I still have not received anything in the mail; no NOA, no Biometrics Appointment.

Does this seem unusual? Is this something that I could call the 1-800 number about and expect to get any kind of useful anyswer?

Any advice or suggestions appreciated

It took exactly 6 months from VSC!

May 31 - NOA 1

June 15 - Biometrics

Nov 30 - Card Production Ordered

The interesting thing was that two weeks prior to the card production ordered update, our 3+ year old fiance visa case had been touched. . . two weeks after that the I-751 got approved. I seen other people mention the same thing so maybe that means your cases are getting ready to be approved soon as well!

I applied for I-751 back in May at VSC, got a NOA receipt date of May 31. Last touched after Biometrics in July. Nothing since.

However, just noticed that the Fiance Petition that was processed and approved 4 years ago was just touched this past Saturday, 11/17/07.

Has this ever happened to anyone before?
