Update: The VFS told us we should have never sent Packet 3 via e-mail even though they sent us confirmation. We re-submitted on 05.23.12 and got confirmation the consulate received the docs today 05.24.12 from the DOS. We are back on track now...Delay tactics are interesting...

ive found the vsf center to be absolutely useless, every time my fiance or i have called or emailed they just read some prewritten script off to you and tell you they dont have any information before they even ask for a case number or name. they told us u havent paid the fees so thats why our packet 4 hadnt arrived but then they later told us that we are supposed to pay after we get packet 4. i honestly think they just get paid to sit there and tell people that they should e-mail or to wait...

u r so right hnj...they dont know wht are they doing there..my fiance called them n asked them about notary of the passport...n the person on the phone said yes you have to notarized...when my fiance said but it doesnt say on the website..so that guy said yaa you dont have to notarized if it says on website...so still confused..

I hear you! The only thing that works for me is trying to give myself other things to look forward to. When is your next trip to India?

My next trip isn't until beginning of August 2012 as we are trying to save a lot of our money for the visa process and the wedding...I really want to go back sooner but things are still up in the air...
