hmmm... I thought the embassy's the one that gives you your appointment letter for the medical? Yeah, I've read about some VJers who schedule their interviews ahead of time. However, I've read also that the medical should be done at least a week before the interview. So it might get messed up if we schedule an interview, and then we receive an appointment letter for the medical that's less than a week before the date! oh dear... so confusing. Let me know what you decide on...

Oops! Sorry, my mistake. this is from another VJer: "for the medical, you need to present the appointment letter from your interview..no appointment letter needed specifically for the medical..you can go there as long as you have proof of your interview schedule."

so we still really need to wait for the packet to do the medical appointment. but how about the interview appointment? can we just schedule it without having the packet in our hands yet..? we'll see how the forum goes... =)

NBI clearance can be released within the same day if you dont have any hits. I suggest you go pretty early so you can finish the same day. It would help if you could bring previous nbi clearance so it will be easier and it will only be a renewal...

I'm waiting also.....soooo, from what I hear they have up to six weeks, this includes weekends. If after those 6 weeks nothing has been sent, then the embassy can send a request inquiring as to why and then it should be done.

oh. the waiting time might be different there in your country. but you'll get it soon for sure.

the lady told me i still need to get some shots when i get there (though i already had 3) maybe you just need those additional shots but not the whole medical test. but ofc im not sure about this.
