Did they give him a small paper that gave him a time to go to the Embassy? And they should have told him a specific day. They are closed on Fridays and I imagine they will be closed for Christmas. Without the paper with the time, they will not let him in the Embassy. It will be a time in the afternoon like 1:30 or 3,etc. the guard will ask him for it.

No problem! Just do what makes you the happiest. Life is too short for anything else.

They only required one year from me so you should be fine. You can read my review from the Embassy if you haven't already. I tried to be at thorough as possible.

I'm so happy that Sebastian got his visa approved! It sucks that you have to fly back on Saturday. Book his flight for Tuesday or Wednesday, because for sure they will give it to him on Monday. Same thing happened with Javier: told him to come back the next day, told him it wasn't ready, and the next day he came back and they had it ready! I'm really excited for you guys tho...

1.5 months after I sent the email, they emailed me back with the date of his interview. Expect that it will take a few months. We received the appointment in late July/early August and it was scheduled for October. HN Consulate takes a while. Then just prepare yourself for the interview with the documents, photos, etc. Be patient because the HN Consulate can be super slow!

Here is what I did after we received our NOA2: I called the NVC about two weeks after we received the NOA2 and asked for the case number. You will know automatically if they received your file because they will start asking for the birthdays of you and your fiance. Then I sent an email to the immigration unit in Tegus with my fiance's name and case number asking them for an interview.

I totally feel you. They respond to emails after a month. Thats how it happened with us. Regarding the calls, keep calling they will answer. I dialed over 100 times within an 1 hour until they answered. I was histerical! When they finally answered they finally answered they said they still didnt have a date for us. I called a week later and again, took me forever for them to answer and was given a date. They will ask for your email so they can send the packet. If you want I can send you t...
