Hey........is anyone of you July filers from NY, whose case was transferred to NYC field office and what interview location. Cause I feel that New Yorkers are experiencing a delay in the processing.

Depends what you are adjusting from. Depends if you have over stay etc.

I have not overstayed. My status while filing was F1 and I was attending school also.....but i took off this quarter.

My USC husband is filing for me.130/I485 concurrent

Has anyone been in a similar situation as mine?

I filed for my 130/AOS on July 13 and on NOV 13th I will be completing my four months of process.

I have my ceremony coming up on Dec 28th in my home country and I need to be there at least a month before so that I can do my shopping and stuff.

But my AOS thingy is a big suspense to me. (My case is still in initial review..no transfer or anything)

I am from NY and so I am estimating that my field office is NYC. According to the USCIS website the processing time for NYC field office is showing up as FEB 16 as of AUG 2011

So if I tally, they will start working on my process in November and I might get a interview in Dec, which is not quiet possible for me.

SO what do you guys suggest? SHould I just go ahead and use my AP to book my tickets after Nov 13th (i.e completion of 4 months) or wait till I get the interview letter at least.

I APPLIED FOR AOS - FAMILY BASED on July 7th.

Received my EAD+AP card on OCT 4

Nothing about my AOS interview yet. My service center is NBC & FIELD OFFICE: NYC ( I THINK THE DELAY IS CAUSE OF THE NYC OFFICE)

Anyone with the same field office??

Ah! So nice to hear some of the approvals. Congrats to all who have made it. I havent heard anything yet. May be it depends on the Service center and the local office availability for an interview. Mine is being processed at NBC and probably my local office is NYC (Surprisingly when i check priority dates in the NYC office it shows Dec 30,2010.....I hope it has nothing to do with the delay ((

Hi I applied mine in July 2011 too......so far I have received my EAD & AP. Nothing on GC yet. Was wondering as to how much more longer it might take.
