  1. I feel your pain (we all do)....

    Good Luck Oli:)

This has been such a long and torturing journey. I can see that it is going to end next month for me or at most the month after next. Yet, I feel both pain and happiness in my heart. My tears could roll down at any moment ......cray5ol.gif

Ladies, Gentlemen in this forum, my PD is 29 June 2006. Wish me luck please. I will keep you people posted of my progress.

  2. WOW!!!

more than two years later...that's crazy, isn't it?

I totally agree with Rick_ES_USA, thank you for starting this topic...a very nice "support group";)

    Indeed a milestone:)

Good Luck Westlink (and everybody else)!

    Dear Westlink:

Last time you were this close to being current … it was April of 2011! I´m sure this time around it will be for real! BTW … Thanks for initiating this topic… many followers!

I feel like you getting your IL will be a major milestone for all of us … still waiting!

  3. Absolutely!!! Although, It'll most likely take a while for me to get IL....my local office is running behind:(

Also, I am just now completing all paperwork (did not expect to get current so soon...was thinking/predicting more like july!).

    Good luck guys:)

Not sure if ROGER_CR has been visiting this forum lately. Haven't heard from him/her for so long. Can you share AOS interview experience?

GREENCARDGO, can you share your AOS interview experience as well when it's done?

  4. In life, it's all about priorities.Personally i would not risk it.When you decide on making your life somewhere, and such important papers are at stake, i think being at a wedding, even your sister's, is not that important. She'll get married anyways. When you can't, you can't.I hope you don't mind me playing the devil's advocate here.On the other hand, if it is so important for the bride to have her sister attending, she could always change the wedding date.In your shoes, i would not do it.I have been wainting patiently for 5 years to be able to adjust status, i did not move an inch, and won't until i hold the card in my hand.Good luck.

I was reading thru this thread and I saw your message...I have been waiting for 5+ years to AOS too:( not fun!!!! I'm on a F-1 visa. How was your case, did you run into any issues? I have never had any problems...being out of status and such.

    Any info would be awesome:)

    Thank you

  5. Hi welcome, good to see more 2006 in this thread. Lets hope we dont have to wait that long. Last time I spoke with NVC I was told to call back in 6 mths, that was in May so I will call in a few weeks time. Just keep us update on your journey so that others can benefit from it. Thank you!

My PD is May 2006. Let us know what they say when you call again.....hoping it'll start moving faster:)

  6. Are you F2b whose parent got citizenship recently? I can't imagine anyone with 2004 PD who couldn't complete NVC process in a year (April 2004 was current in February 2010 even though there was a first retrogression it was still a current PD in January 2011).

We are glad to see some new people here, please let us know when you receive your interview letter next month. I assume that with present VB pace your PD will be current next month :).

We would really like you to keep us informed, even after your interview ( your interview experience :) ).

    Thanks

Yea, I am completely w/ you, please make sure to tell us how it all went dowm..lol

Anyway, I hope you get your letter+interview pretty soon...Good Luck

Thanks for the welcoming greetings:) Happy to be here and share the PAIN!!!
