Hi, it just means are you capable to do things that are legal. For example some people might not be mentally capable to make decisions for themselves. As long as you are an adult capable of this, you are fine.

I know that one of their requirements is birth certificate, but my love have lost his birth certificate? he only have US citizenship certificate. He will get his birth certificate in Nigeria since he was born there in Nigeria? any idea of this VJ members? pls... is US citizenship okay already?

If you plan on working abroad for 2 years before joining your husband in the USA, I recommend he files in about one year. The process should take about 8-10 months, and then you have 6 months to use the visa, so you can finish out your two years of work and then move to the USA.

If he filed for it a year b4 my contract finished, how could I follow-up for the other rqmts needed especially my presence in my own country? is it possible to response on it in my working place,just that my mom will send me the documents needed? Any advise sister? VJ members?

what questioned my mind was, all those things such receipts,outing wen he visit me on my country,all written by his name??? how if you eat in a restaurant,you cannot tell to the cashier by his name whereinfact they were using computerized for the pricing such in a grocery...what about BPI? what is this? phone bills? im just calling him by my load,no any bills..how could i print it? ohhh... help me VJ members

You have to FULLY read the directions for all required information and documentation. The instructions will give you the address of the filing center, based on your location, not on your preference. Thanks for the response VadnVince. Well as for the custodial part on my son, i think theres no problem on it since we were not married of his father,he just acknowledged our son after i gave birth. On his birthcertificate,he sign for it. If needed a permission though we're not married, I will provide ahead of time so that if the USEM in manila needed it,i can show them. For the nikah, We already talked bout it not to do only after our civil wedding in the US inshaallah then I'll come back on my country to plan for the wedding. Is this not a problem that after I finished all docs in US,ill return back to phils with my husband to hve our wedding ceremony there? we will have nstead our engagement..

My fiance in US will do some filing for k1 and k2, any advise of what to do on this visa since some of VJ members advise me not to get a lawyer on my last topic to save money which is great, and thanks for that VJ members.

My fiance will visit me nextyr, is he will bring some of the requirements needed for filing on the k1and k2 on his visit? the forms needed on fiance visa and others? What are those? And where he can file when he'll returnback to US? Any advise also for a faster USCIS service center to do our application?

Please help us VJ members on this matter for those who already finished their own and the one who already done this things, please help..

Im confused also bout this if we wanted to have an unofficial ceremony without any legal contract signatures esp.me, I'm a muslim woman and we are planning to file for k1 visa and we will have our engagement party and planning to have our traditional muslim wedding, just to have the blessings of my family, then once inshaallah we'll be approved, after marrying in US, we will return to Phils to do the big wedding.
