  1. Today I received an email from some one called SMART Core and in the subject line it says, "RE:Fiance Visa Application-ICE". It says that this SMART Core place or whoever they are sent ME & Lagos the email. Attached to the email is 2 documents. One titled, "Medical Examination" and the other titled, "Interview Prepatory Packet K1-K3".

    These are my questions...

    What is SMART Core?

    What is ICE?

Does this mean that I and my fiance will soon be receiving an interview date?

Thanks in advance for any insight you may be able to give

I dont know who they are but i guess they are incharge of interview date and sending of packages. (Notifications in general.)

U will soon have ur interview date so do not panic. its good news.

    Good luck!!!

  2. Thanks for ur contributions. Maybe I didnt put the question right.

When u get approved and the interview package is sent, what forms are contained it.

    I only got DS-156(2 copies), DS- 156k and I-134.

Are there other forms to taken along to the interview? e.g DS 157, DS 230....

    Thank U

  3. Go through the information sent with the interview preparatory email once more.

It contains precise answers to all Чuя questions. Good luck

Hi, U get ur Police report only from Alagbon. But if u have live outside Nigeria after u turned 16, then u need to get police cert from those countries. But If u have live all ur life in the 36 states of Nigeria, U get ur Certificate from Alagbon.

As for the Visa fee, u pay on the dAy of ur interview.

    I hope this helps.

  4. Welcome to VJ you should be fine as long as you have tax transcripts and make over the poverty guidelines.....

Thank you so much. This is a relief!!

How temporary? What does your last few years taxes look like?

If it is long-term temporary or temp-to-permanent, you should be ok. If it is short term (ie the contract ends a few weeks/ months after the interview), then they may not like that, especially if you've been under/ close to the poverty line the last few years.

Thank you for the info. such a relief.....
