Thanks for checking in. Things continue to move forward. It seems the process is broken down across many different gov't agencies. I have completed the biometrics in the US, received my work permit (green card), however, have not had my interview as of yet. This means I can work, but not leave the US as of yet. I am starting to look for work, however, it is slow going.

Hey guys! Sorry for the long time to respond. My Visa/Passport arrived 8 days after my interview. Accounting for the weekend and the fact that one document was faxed by my fiancé on the day of my interview, I would say the turn around time was excellent!

I am now in the US and moving forward with the next phase!

Indeed. My appointment was today and how stressful. The people at the consoluate were amazing, however, my lawyer did not give me all of the required documentation. I spent the day fighting with the computers they had there to create the required documents. Plus had to run back to the hotel to print as secure docs do not print at the consulate.

APPROVE, but, they didn't take paym...
