I brought my kids to the Oath ceremony, I wish I had a sitter to watch them. the oath we had was 2hrs long, and towards the end they lost all patients

I believe at Costco you get a set of 4 pictures. I would bring the extras when you go to your interview in case they lose them. I had my wife bring them with her to the interview and the oath cermony (friends of ours had to run to the cvs and get another photo taken during the oath cermony because they needed it for the naturalization paper. any extras photos you can user for you passport. Good luck

We did our form online, we moved within the same city..

Aggree'd no worries, we already had our interview and naturalization ceremony, and went on the site today, it states on Feb 3 a interview letter was sent to you. Some reason its on par with the letters and other times...it take a couple months to update dont know why

My Wife had interview today. she passed!!!!!. we applied back in Sept. Oath ceremony. The questions they asked her was about her jobs and well as kids. The for her civics was year of the civil war, who wrote the dec of independence, 2 of the supreme court questions, and the founding father, and the first president. that took her 20 minutes. then she waited about an hour for her oath letter. we brought copies of everything, they only asked for her passport, birth cert, green card, and my passport.

applied in September, we have friends who applied in august and they too do not have a interview date

Hello, just a quick question my wife has a perm greencard and we are now applying for citiizenship, they asked were she traveled in the past 5years? we have travelled numerous times to canada either drivering or flying, what happens if we dont remember the exact dates, going into canada by car they dont scan the passport and at times coming into the US the same thing, i can give an estimate but dont want to put her in jeaporady...is there a way to find out?

Im filling out the N400 and got to the part on how many trips outside the US in the past 5yrs, the only place we go is toronto where her family is from but i dont know how many times we have been there from the past 5 years...is there someone to call for this or put the best information?

For renewal of your CA passport you can use your married name and send in the marriage cert as supporting document.
Your new CA passport will have your married name on it instead of the maiden name.
Thanks it doesnt call for a marriage certificate to back up, just a drivers license..which i have under my married name..or you think i should send that in anyways?

Hi all, has anyone lived here coming in on a Fiance visa and now have the 10yr green card but their candadien passport expired?
If so here is what i have done so far
1.filled out the renewel passport application...question is im still under my maiden name in Canada, and married name in the states, can i put my married name on the passport? or this will be confusing when i apply for my american passport? should i keep my maiden name? and change everything after i get my US citizen?

hi, we had the same problem, travelling to canada many trips numerous times. We tried to match it as close as possible, my wife had her interview already and they did not question anything, i think if you are off a day or two i dont think it really matters....
