Ok. So I checked my status for the i485 and it said Card/ Document Production on the 24th this month. A couple of hours after it is says:
Decision
On October 24, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
Which is two step back. So did I have a green card or not?

In one sealed envelope? Because I have my medicals in a separate envelope so I would have to use a bigger one to put the RFE and the envelope with the exams.
-
I just don't want them (USCIS) to think that I had sent them more that they requested.
-
One more question. Before sending the RFE package should I include a cover letter listing what's inside the envelope (like the one you send with the I-485 form)?
-
Sorry. I know who they are and think that everyone knows too. They the doctor and the person who did the paperwork. I was asked to send the "properly completed and signed Form I-693" about a week ago.
-
Was your vaccination record complete? I did not submit the I-693, only a copy of my complete vaccination record (DS-3025). I haven't had an RFE. I sent my AOS mid June, had my biometrics in July and my interview is set for tomorrow. Hope that helps
I had my vaccination worksheet from the country where I come from and thankfully they accepted that. So I didn't have to do anything about that. They just updated the worksheet and made it look like one of theirs. I am asked to send everything again, I-693 included. I asked the person that prepared the sealed envelope if everything I need is in it and she replied yes. So I really hope it's everything they ask for.

Hey. I got the new medical exams. Again they are in a sealed envelope so I can't really make a copy. W/e. I know where I have to send them but there's a thing that is bothering me. I received the Request of additional evidence with an envelope and printed address (with bold red letters) on it. Is that envelope for the request of add. evidence and the other sheet of paper? Should I just put everything (request for evidence and sealed exams) in one of those big brown envelopes and write the address that's printed on the front of the attached envelope?
-
It doesn't really matter now. I did the medical exams and I'll be taking the sealed envelope tomorrow. So thank you USCIS. There goes $300 down the drain.
-
I called the doctor and I was surprised to hear that they DO NOT keep any copies of the documents. So basically I'm screwed. I have my vaccination and x-ray but nothing more.
-
I'll call the doctor that did the initial exam and ask them to send me a copy of the exam documents and show them to the civil surgeon and hopefully they will just fill in the i-639.
-
Sadly I do not have a copy, since it's in a sealed envelope.
-
So basically go do the I-693 and then after submitting it I should start calling Tier 2 officers and complaining and request a refund?
-
I called a Tier 2 Officer and basically I was told that I could send them a message stating that they have the documents, because it (the documents) was taken from me by the US Customs, but I can get a denial. What I can do, which will be probably smarter is go and show the certified doctor what I've done and fill the I-639 again. Coz you know, USCIS wants us to be punctual but then again they can do whatever they want. Would I get a refund for the money spent of the new exam? Probably not.
PS: Sent the documents in February.

Hello. I came to the state on a K1 visa. Sent all the documentation for I-485 and now I'm getting this:
---------------------------------
Request for additional Evidence
I-693 Report of Medical examination and Vaccination Record.
Note: A review of the record indicates that you entered the US pursuant to a K-1/K-2 non-immigrant visa. All USCIS records related to you have been reviewed. The US Department of State medical forms DS-2053, DS-3024, DS-3025 and DS-3026 were not forwarded by the Department of State.
Please submit a properly completed and signed Form I-693. The medical examination must be conducted by a physician who is on the list of Civil Surgeons approved by USCIS.
-----------------------------------
The thing is I passed medical exams within a year of my i-485 application and everything was taken from me by the customs excluding the vaccination documentation worksheet (copy of the document) and the X-rays. I sent the Vaccination Worksheet along with all the needed documents for I-485. What should I do?

Their office is close to where my mother-in-law lives, so it's not a problem for her to go and get it.
-
And I said that tomorrow my mother-in-law will be going to the IRS's office to get one for 2011. I remember someone saying that you can go and they'll give it to you while you're there.

We have tried the best, OP doesn't believe so let it go Inky...
What do you want me to say?! I have no idea what that tax return. Same goes for the tax transcript. If you say it's the same thing I'll be sending the tax transcript then. What else do I have to do? I read all the posts. Some of you wrote things I do not understand. I did my part in this and I was hoping for my mother-in-law to do her part. Apparently she gave me the wrong thing. If I was the one that had to present federal tax return (or tax transcript, I really don't know if that's the same thing) I would have known what is what and what to file and present. New country, new life, new laws. Excuse me if I'm confused!!!!

If you want to call what we call the misinformation line, then have fun. You don't have to listen to anyone here. Keep in mind that the people you call are not USCIS employees, but subcontracted call-center employees who read from a script.
I won't respond to this thread further. Good luck whatever you do.
I'll be sending the Federal Tax Return and the Tax Transcripts. Even though they said nothing about the second I will listen to you guys. I'm sorry but I just want all my bases covered. Tomorrow my mother-in-law will go to the IRS Office and ask for the transcripts. Would it be a problem if I send them both things?!
-
I just called the USCIS and they said that if it's not mentioned (the IRS transcripts) then they don't need it, but If i send it with the complete federal income tax return it will be better. That's what they said.
-
I also got a RFE for this. I was wondering did you send in a new Affidavit of support with your tax papers? We are going crazy trying to figure out whether to include it our not.
Yes, I got that. The thing is that some say that I should send tax transcripts too. Some say that I have to have all W2s and every document that's mentioned in the tax return that my mother-in-law has. I just want to make sure that I have what I need and don't send something that they don't need and get my case denied.

I still haven't sent anything. I just received the request for initial evidence letter. It doesn't say that I should send new I-864 alongside with the tax return.
-
If you read my first post it clearly states that they want complete Federal Tax Return. I don't know if there's a difference between what I have and the tax transcripts. That's why I'm posting the whole content of the document I have. Supposedly the tax return.
