  2. Hello All

I Have a question. I am scheduled to file for my i-751 (condition removal on green card) before june 18. I have already wasted 14days thinking if I should hire an attorney or not. Attorney is asking me that he will charge $1500 to file my I-751 and if I recieve an interview letter then $1000 for attorney fee. I think he is asking too much but my question is what if I dont go through an attorney now, but if I recieve an interview letter Can I hire an attorney then? Any information and advice will be helpful.

    Also for evidence of relationship:

Me and my husband are living with our family so we have no lease or mortgage under our name.

    all we have is:

    • joint bank accounts
    • pge bill
    • joint saving account
    • life insurance my husband as beneficiary
    • car isurance
    • car title both our name
    • he recently started a job so we have health insurance me as beneficiary
    • two year taxes
    • few photos of two us and few with family mom dad brother in law n sister in law , just casual pics clicked at home.
    • we never go out on weekend gatherings , did not even go to any weddings coz nobody invited us :dancing: and not very fond of clicking lot of pictures usually click selfies or have invidiual pics (I heard pics are not that important ?)
    Thanks

  3. Hello everyone!

About a month ago i had received a letter in the mail stating that my petition to remove conditions has been approved and i should receive my gc in the mail within 60 days.date on which decision was made is 02/27.i havent received my gc till now.when i check my status it hasnt been updated, and uscis customer care doesnt know whats going on.we had filed my case in VSC but i have received approval from Atlanta Office.i am now frustrated and hope i never have to deal with these ppl again.does anyone has same problem.

    Thanks!!

btw i had filed in august 2014

  4. Dont worry i think ur case is approved.this is a regular practice for them to grill you cuz of lot of fraud happening.people who are true stay calm and composed whereas people who lie get nervous and make all kinds of mistakes.as far as the online status is concerned they never update it cuz my case was approved i even got a letter in the mail stating my green card is on its way but the status online does say nothing.i can understand how you feel but dont worry you are approved i feel.dont think negative.

    ?

  5. Ok so i filed my petition to remove conditions in august 2014 and i finally received the letter stating my petition has been approved and my permanent resident card is in the mail.the only thing it doesnt say is how many years would reflect on my card.finally after all those worry and sleepless nights we had a moment to celebrate!!!.oh and yes on the uscis website it says my case status has been received..??

  6. hi friend,

Dont worry about you both are divorce the earlier post is right, there are people who are divorce plenty of time, but they got approved. As long as you have divorce papers your fine, the Co might asked about your previous MARRIAGE,why and when,AS long as you have a paper for that you can relax.Focus on what your case now, study all the details and organize your paper works before going to the interview,BEing nervous wouldnt help you, instead be calm as much as u can.

    good luck.

Thank u so much for your suggestion...i really appreciate...hope everything goes well at the interview...

  7. They could ask you about previous marriage of you and your fiancee. You will need to show the proof for divorce, but nothing to worry about. A lot of people are divorced and filing for K-1 (I am one of them).

Don't worry as long as you have enough evidence to show the relationship you should be fine.

Good luck on the rest of your journey.

Thank you so much for ur help...it has really made me feel better...yes i have all the proofs of dissolution of my previous marriage...thanks once again...really hoping the interview goes well..and we get the visa...

  8. hi guys,

i just this simple question : i have not middle name, shall i write nothing and leave it blank or write : N/A or : NONE ?

well, i think if i write : NONE then the USCIS will may think that the word : NONE is my middle name lol so, what shall i do ?

    thanks guys.

hi..well if u dont have a middle name leave the box blank, mark it with (-) u can simply mention N/A it means not applicable...hope this helps

  9. hello all the members of vj..

i need help regarding filing the papers...my fiance had filed our case in June we received the NO2 on the 16 sept...now my confusion is in the divorce decree...

last year me and my ex husband had signed a divorce agreement which clearly states that now we both can remarry....after one year i met my fiance and we decided to file for the k1 visa...

when my fiance had processed the K1 visa in june 2011,i had my divorce agreement(no decree at that time)...soon after that i had filed for my decree in a fast track court...now that court was someplace else...since my maternal uncle stays there it became easier for me to get the decree in just two months... my divorce decree has my maternal uncles address on it(any ways that was just my corresponding address for the case)...now my confusion is whether i should send the copy of my decree along with the divorce agreement...or i should just send the divorce agreement....i also spoke to my lawyer he suggested me that i can attach a letter authorized by the magistrate that the address on the decree was my corresponding address for just 2 months for the divorce case only .... shall i hire a consultant...

i am really confused and depressed... i don't wanna mess up anything... if some one could please guide me...i would really appreciate it!!thanks
