      Congrats for EAD and Learners permit... whats state id.. is it SSN?

      A Learner's Permit is the document that allows you to practice how to drive. A state id is similar to a Driver's License (valid for admission and travel everywhere in USA) but does not allow one to drive.

      Visa Fee was paid via demand draft from an Indian Bank at the Consular Exchange rate of 58 to 1 dollar at the cashiers window. They also accept US dollars in cash as well.

      Thank you!! I also wanted to know that why you couldn't get the medical reports on the same day. I called Max Medcentre in Panchsheel park yesterday and they told me that you will get the reports on the same day.

    Packet 4 received .... Medical Appointment in May and interview at 8AM June 5.

    Received an email on Monday April 2nd (almost like an April Fools joke). VFS said we need to resubmit Packet 3 with attachments that are less than 2MB. Resubmitted the Packet 3 documents via email today April 3rd. Just got the confirmation email that the documents have been submitted to the embassy.

    Received my NVC letter on March 24th, Called DOS 202 phone number and confirmed Delhi Embassy now has the case !

    NVC confirmed by phone that the petition has moved to the Embassy yesterday... Still have not received NVC letter via USPS
