So I received my permanent green card on 11/05/2011. Problem: there is an error with a couple of dates on it - it says I've been a permanent resident since 10/11/10 and my green card will expire on 10/11/12. HOWEVER, we went the I-130 route (spousal petition) and not only was this form not submitted until February 2011, my wife and I weren't even married until November 2010, and my date of entry wasn't until October 11, 2011. I received my visa packet yesterday...picked it up at the Kitchener/Waterloo DHL office on Colby Drive. Not counting the day of my interview, I received it in 3 business (M-F) days. My wife comes for a weekend visit this Saturday and I head back with her next Tuesday (Oct 11/11). Crossing at either Niagara Falls or Buffalo. YAY!!!!
