Hey All,

I've been trying to pay the immigration visa fee now that we have the visa. The problem is, everytime I enter the A-number which is featured on the package, I keep getting an invalid error notification.

Has this happened to anyone? Any tips? Would love to get this paid before we fly. Luckily we have a few weeks till our flight to the US.

Yes, I did get insurance. I did through them and I think I just got the standard option (3.5% of the goods declared value). So it depends on how much you valuate your belongings.

BTW, I think the date on the last line of your signature is incorrect

Just an update on this:

I have finally received my shipment. Like I mentioned previously, although I was quoted a max. 4 month, it ended up taking them 6 month.

Also, the truck driver who delivered my things here was alone and said they don't unpack (my contract included packing and unpacking).

The truck driver was lovely and mentioned that several other people were actually complaining about the 6 month wait...

Having said that, apart from the delay, everything arrived safely and they did keep in contact with me through the whole process.

Also, I was not charged anything 'extra' at the arrival (sometimes there are extra customs charges) and I did have a couple extra boxes that I included later (after the initial quote) and they did not charge anything extra for them either.

The 'packers' in Sydney were extremely fast and professional and apart from one 'rude' operational consultant (from the Sydney office), everybody else was 'apologizing' and at least trying to be sympathetic.

Overall, although I am still not happy about the delay, considering all the other positive factors I guess I would use them again.

Oh, and the delivery here is assigned to a third party (not OSS). Their name is Schumacher Cargo Logistics

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while and I kept meaning to come by and update but we've been so busy. We attended the interview in Sydney and unfortunately got refused because of the police check not having prints. Usually it would not be an issue but my husband recently corrected an error in his original birth certificate making us required to get print checks.

Anyhow yesterday we finally got the police check and medical and sent it along. According to the tracking it's arrived. Fingers crossed we get the visa at the end of this week or next week.

I kept getting this and gave up in the end. I couldn't get into the Portal of at least when I did there was no information. In the end I kept checking the CEAC website.

Ok this makes me feel so much better. We'll respond to the email with the interview date to confirm then start booking our tickets to Sydney for next week!

Unexpectedly we got an email telling us our interview date is NEXT WEEK 9th December is Sydney! We haven't even done the medical and we need to book flights today. Thankfully after reading the email from support @ ustraveldocs.com which says: (If you have not done the medical examinations, you may still attend the interview).

My questions is, the email also says in the beginning to log back into your account to view details but I don't see which account they mean. Could someone help? Any thoughts?

I know!! The sooner we know the faster we can go on booking the flight, hope to hear something soon. I still have to request my Vacation time at work then find a decent price on flight from Virginia to Florida then Florida to Cuba.. Not a fun trip but my hubby wants me there for the interview.

Hi all. Checklist received last week, we are organising the corrections including Aust Federal Police name-only police check.

Am I to understand I can send the rest without waiting for the AFP doc? I had it sent to me. Or do I need to wait til I receive that as well? At least we don't need to send originals anymore.

I'd wait till you get it to send it all together. I had to wait three weeks for a UK police check to send all paperwork. Reason being is they will count the last scanned document as the date to review everything anyway.

I'm hoping we hear from the Embassy this week! Really want to get on with booking flights etc. The whole family will be in attendance (husband, baby, and myself)

I got an email from NVC telling me that my case has been immediately handed over to the Embassy. This is due to our expedite being approved. I also check our status on the site and it states our visa is "in transit" and no longer at "NVC". I also checked the DHL tracking and found a package delivered to the Embassy which lines up with our case complete date.

You can definitely get the medical done before you get the interview email since it's good for 3-6 months. This is more than enough time for the interview to take place.

I am waiting to hear back from Consulate. They emailed me to let me know they have rescheduled my interview at my request but put down my current date and time as the new one.

I reckon some of them are on holiday still after Thanksgiving yesterday. Hopefully hear back on Monday.

I figure because of Thanksgiving we would not hear this week. Fingers crossed next week we hear something. I'll also schedule my husband's medical next week.

It's because we requested an expedite which shipped everything to the Embassy to handle our case from there. I'm hoping we get an interview date some time in December if possible. Hoping for the best.

How come your File is at the Embassy but you don't have an interview date yet. They normally send the file after they have scheduled the date.

I followed the steps to try and find my package and got a hit. Looks like it was sent out a day after my CC and it arrived today. Chances are it's our package but I'm thinking how can we be sure? I figured they send a number of a day. Right?

Don't worry too much. Ours happened a few days after the 60 days. Give them a ring and ask to a supervisor to review if you can.

Just woke up Is 7:46am and the first thing I did was check the ceac site, no n/a yet but I'm a bit more calm now since Lars night I double check the 13.a question and the attorney has it correct plus there's people from Sept 26 without a cc yet.. Guess I just have to have a bit more of patients lol...

Hi, I have a question, please help me , my spouse is medical/ healthcare professional, physically injured, our AOS/IV scan date is Oct.16,2014,what is the best time to file expedite request, so that package will not come back

to us but will reach to the US embassy , because some one told us if we will request ' expedite the case ' before the ' case complete ' the NVC can send the package back to us to present to the interviewing officer at the time of interview and chances r that we will miss the important documents in the mail. Thank u very much for ur help in this regard.

I believe that is correct. If you request an expedite earlier it should help move things quicker if it's granted and will be sent directly to the Embassy.

I am currently using OSS. I'm bringing 20 boxes of clothes, toys, papers, etc. no furniture. They had the cheapest quote for me and like you said their customer service seemed great. However, after pick up everything changed... You no longer talk to the 'sales' team but the operational team and their story is always different than what sales advised. Long story short, I had my items collected back at the beginning of July and at this stage they estimating I should receive just before Xmas. On the original quote the maximum timeframe would be 4 month but I was guaranteed that a shared container was leaving in July/August so it shouldn't take this long. The ship ended up not leaving till September so I'm still waiting. I'm very disappointed as I planned to be waiting for 3 month not 6 month... I ended up having to buy loads of stuff here for me and my 1y old son as I cant keep waiting on them anymore. Anyway I will submit a claim with consumer affairs once my things arrived but I'm waiting for the delivery first to make sure nothing has been broken etc... Good luck!
