We sent in my wife's AOS paperwork around the end of October (NOA was 10/31 if I remember correctly). She had her interview this morning and was approved, so that's not quite 3 months.

My wife got her EAD/AP combo card 9 days before her AOS interview. I believe we got the notice of the interview before the USCIS website updated the EAD/AP status to approved.

We are flying on ANA from NRT into SJC (San Jose, CA), which is a small airport, so I don't anticipate a lot of international arrivals. We only have 1:10 layover, but that was the only flight available using my miles. I figure worst case we'll get rebooked after we miss our flights. I already checked our connecitng airline and they have 4 more flights leaving later that day.

My fiancee received her K1 visa this week. She's only had limited experience with international travel (none requiring connecting flights), so she's scared to travel alone. I'm going to fly out to Thailand and escort her back to the States. A couple questions about immigration/customs when entering:

1. She will have to go through the non-citizen/non-permanent resident immigration line. Is there any issue if I go through the same line with her since we are traveling together?

2. Only a single customs form is required for families, but I assume that since we are not married yet we'll need separate forms, correct?

3. How long should I anticpate her processing through immigration to take? I booked our flights using miles, so I didn't have much choice and ended up with a relatively short layover.

My fiancee just finished her embassy interview this morning at 9am local time and was approved. They told her she will receive her passport w/ visa in about 4 days.

I downloaded a program called skypelogview which will convert your entire skype history into a csv file.

Can someone point me to the link that shows the number of approvals for each day (i.e. where you can see that there were 20 approvals today)?

Got my approval today at 3pm (txt msg). BTW, my NOA1 was Aug 30.

I was sitting in a meeting at work when I got a txt message from USCIS stating that my case status had changed. I quickly check and saw that my petition was approved. This is 4 days after I sent a privacy consent form to my Senator - I'm sure that had nothing to do with it (just coincidental).

How do you review how many petitions were approved?

we chat on Skype in the evening (and mornings on the weekends), and I call her a couple of times a day, but we keep phone chats short. I fly out to Thailand every 3 months to visit her for 2-3 weeks as well.

How do you access the data? Is there a link on the USCIS website?
