Hello everyone, My interview is scheduled for next week. I have a joint sponsor. On the US embassy website for my country it states that "IF you have a joint sponsor they should include a letter stating the relationship to you or your family and why they want to sponsor u". We have no idea on what reason to state for why my joint sponsor wants to sponsor me. please help me guys. this is very important. any little advice is appreciated

My pd is sept 22 and i feel horrible... i don't know what can i do if i will still not receive IL next month..

you'll have to wait for next month's vb if you don't receive your I/L this month. Definitely you'll get it next month if not now

Hi everyone, my wife got her IL already!!! PD sept/15/2010, I have a question? Please can somebody explain me about the letters next to de documents list? What each letter mean?

Are u talking about the X Y O F C $.........letters? If yes, these letters are placed on the right hand side stating whether the requirements for a document was met or if u need to submit them at the time of interview and so on. example: PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE....... "F" IF IT SAYS "F" it means the required document has been received.

Seriously that's early. I noticed everyone's appointment starts at 8am but mine is at 7. Is there anyone on here who has/ever had their scheduled for 7am? maybe different countries different rules.

If your case isn't placed in AP then your visa is approved!!!!!

From my point of view I think if your case has been placed on AP or not it's based on your luck. Some members on here had everything required at their interview, more proof of the relationship than needed but still their case was placed on AP. A reason why they can put u on AP is if they want to review your file to make sure everything is ok.

embassy never set appointment its job of nvc if some one has pd sept 17 got il your wife will definitely will receive it soon they just started from tomorrow their is still two three more days we will see more il

Hi kashj, I have been scheduled for an interview on January 14 2013. Yesterday I received the I'L from NVC. the last page of the 5 pages from the interview letter puzzles me. a part of It states CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTION............DOCUMENT STATUS-C. C means "DIRECT INQUIRIES TO YOUR EMBASSY/CONSULATE" This morning I sent an email to the embassy with my case# and name and a few minutes later they replied saying that "this office is not in receipt of this case file" that i should direct my inquiries to NVC but NVC stated on the I/L that all inquiries should be forwarded to the embassy. This is confusing. The I/L even stated that they have forwarded the case to the embassy. What do u suggest? I dont know what to begin doing.

OMG OMG!!!!!! I received my I/L. My PD is September 17 2010. my interview is scheduled for January 14 2013 at 7:00 am!!! thanks to everyone on here for helping me. without u guys my process woul've been impossible.

Aw man, u waited so long and now they put u on AP! that sucks. Crossing my fingers to receive my I/L soon. My PD is September 17 2010. I wish I won't be put on AP. By the way, thanks alot for sharing your experience. Your waiting will be over some day.

I'm wondering now if I'll get my I/L next month since no one with PD beyond August22 2010 got theirs.

My husband and I are married 2 years 7 months now and had known each other for 2 years before we got married. We talk & see each other every night on yahoo messenger for 1 hour(better than nothing) we text every spare minutes he has and also make quick calls just to hear each others voice. It's been 1 year since he came to visit me. There were times when I get discouraged but he was there keeping me up, always with a positive mind. Everything has its own timing. You will feel discouraged and frustated but don't let those feelings overcome you.

Congrats to all those who are sharing these wonderful news with us. I really hope these updates won't lead us into disappointment when VB will be released.

Hello everyone, My husband has done his tax return for the past two years now and has listed his brother as his dependent each time. for next year's filing, he is thinking of filing for himself and do not include his brother. I would like u guys to advice me whether this will be a good thing he'll be doing or not? I am concern because by next year I might receive my interview letter and I really would'nt want this to mess up anything. Any advice would be apreciated.

How do u say next year?! Or end of this year?? but most of 2010 are case completed.

Because they're currently working on 2009 files and u have to wait for your pd to become current. i'm sept 2010 filer and my case is also complete.
