Calibob is correct. Go online and fill out the forms and submit them it will save you a ton of time at St Lukes. The Appointment is walk-in but your paperwork is already in the system so it goes smother.

Well our journey sure was crazy. At the last minute Venus got her visa but they did not have her daughters. She had to go to the 2go warehouse and get it so they could make it on the plane today. So now that is all done and they are at the airport about to board their flight. 18 hours from now they will be in America and I get to hold my love in my arms again.

I can't wait to hold and hug my two girls.

For those still waiting please be patient and persistent in your own visa journey.

Well we found out today that we will not make our original timeline and had to move our flights. The Visa's will not be ready on time and should be available by Wednesday 21 Dec. So now we look like we readjust and pray it all works out this time.

It sure has been a tough Journey but the bigger the struggle the bigger the prize. I know God has granted me the greatest prize available in my Fiance` and her daughter.

We want to say congrats to all who have their Visa's in hand and hang in there to those that don't.

Ditto! Last night, 2GO main office told me they don't have my visa yet. This morning, at 6:30am, I called USEM Immigrant Visa Unit, an American operator answered and I was advised to call back at 7:30am. I tried calling them again but my call won't go through! An automated voice recorded machine just kept on playing in the background! Argh! Uhm, can I ask where do you reside Eric&Venus?

We will live in Barstow Ca. About 2.5 hours from Los Angeles and Las Vegas (the half way point).

Where will the two of you reside?

Congrats to those with a VISA. We are also waiting with baited breath hoping we get it by Friday. I bought tickets for my fiance` and daughter to fly on Tuesday 20 December. We are praying that we make this date.

Thanks for starting this thread. We are on pins and needles also. We are working very hard so that my future wife and daughter will be able to be here for Christmas. We hope the visa is ready in the shortest time possible.

My Honey's appointment is TODAY!!! It has been such a long arduous road to get here.

1) Sent packet to Texas drop box which was then forwarded to LA. One month later it gets rerouted to Vermont stating that they have jurisdiction (even though I live in Calif)exactly 5 months to the day we get our USCIS approval.

2) We wait just over a month and no news of the packet. We start calling and find out it is lost between USCIS and NVC.

3) We finally get it to NVC and get stuck in AP status for 9 VERY long days!!

4) Packet gets to the Embassy and it takes another week and a half before they will allow us to make the appointment ,which is one month from when the packet is shipped from NVC, even though everything else is done.

So today is the interview. I am praying it all goes well so my family can immigrate soon.

We had a huge issue with this process. Wait one week and then start calling the USCIS, DOS and NVC.

We waited for one month only to find out our packet was lost between the USCIS and NVC.

Hi Everyone I need some advice. In Line 10 of the I134 it asks, "I have submitted a Visa petition(s) to USCIS on behalf of the following person(s)."

My question is do I list her daughter here? I listed her daughter in line 3 and she is on the I129F. Her daughter is 15 yrs old. I just wanted to know if I list her in line 10 as well.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Well we called USCIS and asked for an inquiry as to the status of our packet. They returned a letter granting us Expedited service. We made the first call Monday 24 Oct and by Thursday the packet was in NVC and we got our MNL Case Number!!!!

We just hope ad pray we can still make our 1 December target.

Thanks so much for the advice. On the lost part the USCIS told me that they have a record of Vermont sending the packet. They informed me that they would send another copy because the first one did not make it.

On the 90 days I am concerned because the NO2 states that the approval is only valid until 18 Jan 2012.

Again we will post any updates as we receive them.

After all of our waiting we found out our packet has been lost. We got out approval on 2011-09-19. I did not know to call the NVC to get the data so we could expedite the process. Well Yesterday after waiting 36 days and no embassy letter I called the NVC and was told they do not have our packet. So I waited until 8 AM local so I could call the USCIS and was told they have a record of it being shipped to NVC. Well I submitted official inquires with both agencies and got back a response explaining that NVC has searched all documents and they are not in possession of our packet. USCIS has sent me a response that they will expedite our case. This all being said we were trying to have her travel on 1 DEC but it does not look good with this current mix up.

Does anyone have any advice of how we can make this process faster once we get the notice that NVC receives our packet?

Lastly I am worried because the I129F is only good for 90 days and they have wasted 36 of our days to get it complete.

We truly appreciate any help.

We received our NO2 on 2011-09-19. We are still waiting for our notice from the Consulate? Is there any way to see if our packet has departed USA or when it might arrive at the Manilla Consulate? We just want to know how to plan our way ahead.
