Thanks! Yes I was surprised at how quick it was. Except now, it's taking NVC forever to receive my our paperwork from USCIS. It's been 11 days and still nothing.

The USCIS is moving pretty quickly. Don't hold me to it, but usually they say its about five months from NOA1 date, but they have been processing them in about 4 months. I got my NOA2 in 3 1/2 months. Just keep your time occupied and try to visit at least once in between and time will pass quicker than you think

Yes!! I think we did file the same time. They received mine on the 14th of November. They sent my to Vermont also. Looks like we will be waiting till April for NOA2! :/

Definitely a thought!! Although he will probably be working and in training most days, so not sure how that would work. I could go just for the weekend and surprise him on his birthday, but of course I would love to know that I will be able to spend more time with him. Thank you for the idea! I heard tickets in December are pretty expensive. I was looking on priceline last night and I found a roundtrip from end of december into january for $367. Thats not too bad. Yea I was online for a good part of the day too just researching this site and others to see what all I needed. Question....did u print the pictures on regular paper or photo paper? Also, how many did u include and what types of pictures are they looking for? I only have maybe 4 pictures of us together.
