Our Story
We met while I was vacationing in Colombia, in 2008. Filed for k-1 in 2009, fiance came to the u.s. and we married July 22nd, 2010. Family emergency prompted her to return to Colombia without the proper documentation in place. Myself and her did not know she would not be able to return, since we fulfilled visa. Stupid right? So here we are again, her in Colombia, and myself in California, case has been going for 1 year this month. This is apparently the home stretch, a few more months hopefully. Never take what you have for granted, is the lesson learned.
On my way back to the USA, after a 5-day trip to see my wife. Literally in silent tears coming home, while waiting for my conecting flight, I checked my email and the NVC set my wifes interview! 12/22/11! Always a silver lining.
