USCIS will ask you whatever they need. Once you get the AOS. You don't need any work authorization ! Your temp GC will automatically work as one. So chill and follow the status of your App. Keep fulfilling the needs the document needs of USCIS. You will eventually get it.

Thanks for the replies; is there any post where there is a checklist of evidences provided ?

Hi
Soon as I got my conditional GC in May 2012, we moved to a new home and forgot to update my address; After Living there for 18 months, I realized now that I forgot to update the address; Now I updated to my new address; So now the 18 months Address is missing in the immigration records that I actually lived there; I can Show those 18 months Address proofs and all evidences; But will this be a problem for my ROC which Im filing next month ? Any suggestions please?
-
I am filing next month; just read the instructions; I think Affidavits are very important as well.
-
I did not understand your question; Can you rephrase it ?
Did you file your ROC?
-
You will be getting your EAD soon. Then go back and change your name on the card. Cheers.

It could take just above 90 days for GC. And just around 60 days for EAD. I just got my EAD and waiting for my GC which I'm anticipating in the next couple of weeks.
Cheers.

Hello,
Me and my wife just got married under the K1 Visa, so now we are applying for the AOS and the EAD.
I have several questions. First, when will I receive a SSN. It's my first time in the US under a Visa so I don't have one for now.
Then, concerning the I-694, I had my medical visit about a month and a half ago, just want to make sure I won't need an other medical examination if I just fill the vaccination record.
I also wanted to know if I need an official translation of my birth certificate and if this one needs to be issued within 3 months.
Thank you.
Jeremy
You just need a vaccination record. If you dont have one; go to the nearest USCIS approved medical diagnostic center and let them know that you want the immigration vaccination to be done. Fill the form and they will give you a closed envelop containing your vaccination record. Dont open that and just mail it along with you I-485. No need of I-694 or any medical exam for you.
I think you may need an official translation of your Birth Certificate.
According to few of the postings on VisaJourney, an SSN can be applied soon after we get our EAD.
Cheers.

Hello Guys,
I have a question for you people if anyone can help me out? I was in USA for last 10 years i came back to my homeland on Nov 18, 2010 for my Visa interview which was on January 4,2011.
but i have applied my case in USA at CSC and my case had been approved on Sept 5,2010 they sended my the receipt and the approval letter then they transferred my case to NVC um then the NVC center transferred my case to US embassy In Islamabad, Pakistan i didnt get it why they transferred my case to Pakistan ??? can anyone please help me out :S ??
Thats probably not an approval letter. what happened to your interview last year ?
Is the case still pending ? what kind of visa have you applied for ?
-
Incorrect. If you have ever had an SSN, that is your number for life. So no need for a renewal. Though if he lost the SS card, he should apply for a new one. He won't get a new number though, and his SS number is valid now and will be for life.
Thats a cool timeline..!
I am waiting my GC and EAD. I filed on 10th of Nov, 2011.
Biometrics happened on 30th of Nov. Hopefully my things would also be done just like yours in around 60 days.
I cant wait to get to work anymore.
Regards.

I have just a week's time; and my Police Clearance is struck up with the local Passport authorities.
And since they are having problems such as shortage of staff and equipment. I have taken a print out of a local news paper article,
about the situation and protests going on with the applicants against the authorities.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for this. Hopefully I should get it by this weekend.
Otherwise its a huge risk.
Lord Save me..!

"Finger Print Police Clearance" Lol..!
Though I am confused with my document, you made me laugh..!
Indian passport Offices have recently become online and their portals are not in congruence with the Police department Portals.
Its slowly picking up, though not as advanced as Australia.
My question is that; what if mine is a new passport which is just 2 months old and a renewed one from my Old passport..!
And from past 2.5 years, I was in Australia and I have an Australian Police Clearance..!
Do I still require the Indian One for my renewed 2 months old passport ?
Thanks.
-
My Interview is next week on 18th oct, 2011.
I still haven't got my Indian Police Clearance Document due to a big mess happening in the Govt offices in my locality.
I have a new passport renewed and issued in Aug,2011 and since I lived in Australia for past 2.5 years;
I have an Aus Police clearance and
a stamp on my old passport saying that I have been issued an Indian Police Clearance, when the time I was in Australia, that is in June 2010.
Is it like, still, do I need the Indian Police Clearance in my case as a mandatory document from the consular officers in India ?
Please reply, if anyone knows anything of the above situation ?
-
I have got a new passport re-newed in Aug, 2011, just 2 months old.
And my Old passport has a "stamp" that they have issued a Police cert, when I applied in June,2010 from my embassy in Aus.
Now, that is invalid as its too old. So, for my New Passport which is less than two months old,
My question is that, do I still need a Police clearance ?
@singh; I will emphasize on my Aussie stay and its Police records.
Thank you.
Do I still need to sign I-693 with DS-3025
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Then don't sign it. They will ask you again if they need it.
