I'm sorry for the late notice/update. Everything went smoothly and I had my oath taking ceremony on December 19th, 2011. I was interviewed in the morning then oath taking in the afternoon. Now, I can finally say... I am proud to be an American!

So what is the yellow pre-interview letter that USCIS sent me? I received one in the mail today and it listed : to bring my state ID or driver's license. Does it mean that I will only have to show my Driver's license? Do I have to bring the necessary documents mentioned on the white letter (Interview Appointment)?

Now I am confused?

Quick update, I received the Interview notice today-11/14/2011

My interview date is on December 19th in Bloomington, MN.

We are almost done.

I am planning to bring my Dad's here. He is currently residing and working in Switzerland on a work visa. Does he need to go back to the Philippines to have his interview in Manila or can it be done at the US Embassy in Switzerland? And also, on the form - should I use his Switzerland's mailing address? Would NVC send the paperwork to Switzerland or to the Philippines?

Update: drove 3 hours and ASC Milwaukee allowed me in! Biometrics is done.

Finally, I received a notification from USCIS on 10/22 and my biometrics is scheduled on 11/14. Please update my timeline. Thanks in advance! I'll try the walk-in this week. Wish me luck! I hope they will let me in!

I'm getting antsy. It is almost a month since I received the NOA1 and no FP appointment yet. :-( It seems like Milwaukee USC is rather slow. The waiting is frustrating! Priority date is 9/16 - spoke to one of the USCIS CSR and was told to call after 10/23. *sigh*
