  1. Hello Vjers... i will be having my seminar on Tuesday, I just wanna know what to expect in CFO seminar, please i need some good advise.. which day is better to attend the seminar? Is it really true that it's a first come first serve basis? which is the main Branch (is it the Quirino Avenue Citigold Ctr Manila)? And lastly, do i need to bring the brown packet US embassy gave me? Thank You in Advance!!!

  2. hi guys!! Finally i can say this.....

VISA ON HAND!!!! After 8 months of NOA2, 2 Months before interview and 8months of excruciating 221G, got my visa yesterday morning, wasn't really expecting this early because we are on 221g and it was Saturday yesterday i thought no delivery for 2go.. and i just renewed my medical last week.. so happy, and finally we'll be together soon.. hoping we'll get a ticket on oct 9 before his birthday and anniversary... NEXT STOP: CFO Seminar.. Thank You VJ..

  3. Hi Vjers... had my renewal of medical examination @ slec last wednesday (sept. 12), took me 7 months to fix my 221g, so USEM sent me a letter to renew my medical., Went to SLEC around 9:30ish to my surprise i finished before 10:45am.. last time i went to SLEC it took me 7hours to finish everything..everything went so fast, there were just few people around after i knew it im having my physical exam already. So, i guess those who are planning to have their medical.. be there at 9 am or maybe 10am no need to fall in line at 5am.. and choose middle of the week like wed or thurs... i just hope i will get my visa this week.. :) Goodluck to all of us!!

  4. Hi Vjers! This is the story, my sister and my parents was interviewed last june 2011, my parents were both approved (10 year visa)but my sister was denied.. the very reason why my sister wants to get a visa is because she will accompany my parents because they are both disable.. she has no intention to stay, work or whatsoever in US.. Now, she will have another interview next month hoping she will be approved this time,, i just wanna know from others who has the same experience, what preparation she must do for the assurance of getting a tourist visa so my parents can have a medical check-ups in USA.. here's her profile

My sister is single, 22 years old, works as call center agent, she has money in the bank, we have relatives in US and she is registered nurse in PI.. replies will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  5. hi to all! here's my story

    interview date: December 09. 2011

221g reason: corrected gender of BC needed

note: the day after my interview, i went to my lawyer and paid P25,000 to fix everything.. i will be having my court hearing on January 30,2012... so i guess i have to wait that long before i can submit the additional document.. very depressing..

:crying: GodBless to all of us...

  6. Hi,

When my fiancee went for her medical the woman at the desk said she needed a letter from the NVC. I called the NVC and they said they dont send out letters for K1 cause it is sent directly to the embassay and they process it. But I have heard of people getting a letter?? Very confused...........

hi there.. my fiance did received NVC letter more than 2 weeks after the NOA2.. and yes SLEC did ask for my NVC letter yesterday too.. give it some few days more and you'll receive it very soon.. GoodLuck!

  7. your NBI clearance is still good, i wouldn't waste time and money getting one until necessary again. as for your fiance's bc, bring it and a photocopy, just like everything else you have because it's not uncommon that they ask for docs you're sure they have already =)

Hi there! Thank you for the advice... you are right, i should not waste my time getting a new one.. Godbless!

  8. helloooo guy! Thank God My interview will be on Dec 9 hope i will be with my fiance after Christmas.., visa journey helped me a lot to understand so many complicated things in preparation for our K1 visa, so THANK YOU AGAIN :D .anyway, i just want to know if my 5 month old NBI clearance is still ok... i know its valid up to 1 year,, but read some consulate reviews that sometimes they are asking for an updated NBi clearance.. do you guys think i should get a new one just to be safe and do i need to bring a copy of my fiance birth certificate during my interview?

    Kind regards,

    TEDDY&BEAR

  9. You cannot schedule online or over the phone if the Embassy did not input your case in their system yet. From my previous experience, it took them a week upon receipt to do this.

If NVC sent it Nov. 4, plus average 3 days shipping = Nov. 7, plus 7 days = Nov. 14. I suggest you pay around this date.

Try also to email the embassy at IVManilaReplies@state.gov, please see this link for email instruction: http://manila.usemba...contact-us.html

The email might help in locating the file and inputting the case in their system right away.

hi.. thank you so much for the information! Now i know what to do... Godbless!

  10. hi friends! we got our manila case number already and NVC said they forwarded our petition to USEM on November 4.. then we just called the USEM asking if they already received our packet already so we can book our appointment, the officer said that we should wait an EMAIL that will be send to the petitioner before we can be booked ...sigh! ,,, do we still need to wait for that or i can pay the fee and book for an interview now??? please enlighten me about this!!

    Thanks guys!

  11. that's exactly what happened to us... After 5 months of waiting, fiance called USCIS and told us we got an RFE.. and didn't received the hard copy until after 3 weeks.. What happened was, they mailman tried to send the mail 3 times at their house but there was nobody at home to receive it... just be sure that there's someone at your house to receive and sign the mail... because if not they are going to send it back to CSC... Next time you call USCIS, tell them to escalate you to Tier 2, i think they really know what going on to our cases... Goodluck!

  12. hello everyone... i did ask this question before, but need some straight answers! please help me! I am so worried this has been bugging me for sometime now.. just received our NOA2 hardcopy so we can schedule interview after getting MNL case number... Just want to know if the USEM will honor AFFIDAVIT OF DISCREPANCY regarding the error in my Birth certificate.. (gender issue).. My lawyer said my case is still pending.. i don't know if it will be finalized by the time of my interview i don't wanna be put on AP.. So here's my question for those who encounter the same problem and for those who have knowledge about this.. can i really use AFFIDAVIT OF DISCREPANCY during interview at USEM? Thank You!

  13. hello everyone... I don’t know if it is a good idea to be put in a service request.. we’re April filer and obviously we already hit the 5 month processing time and got an RFE after 5months and still no NOA2 and now we are close to 7 month .. my fiancé called USCIS yesterday and asked if we can be put in service request.. the agent was kind enough and very helpful and said it will take 24-48 hours for the service request to be sent.. but the problem was, he did not give my fiancé a reference # or confirmation # for the SR.. so I told my fiancé to call back again and ask for the ref # and be sure to speak someone from tier 2(according to the post of other VJers) … and so he did call today.. the lady gave her the confirmation # from yesterday and said to wait for a week or 2 for the result…So now, I want to know from other VJers who have experience Service request.. did it really helped or just wasted your time?? The whole idea of waiting is just so frustrating, you see other vjers who gets their NOA2 under 5 months and here we are still can't seem to get the chance of getting it..sorry for the rant ^_^ Thanks!!

  14. @jamiew.. i think u are lucky to have your RFE after 2 months.. we got our RFE almost 6 months.. and still waiting for the NOA2.. i think it also depends on the nature of the RFE if they need a thorough review its going to take a while.. you should also try calling them every now and then just to update your case,..before you can receive your approval they already updated their system.. in our case we call them every second week so we know if they are working on it... Anyway, goodluck to us who are still waiting for our approvals...

  15. hello VJers family!!! I just have a little concern about my BC.. we still don't have the NOA2 yet but i just wanna be sure if everything's ok before interview day comes.. My gender on BC is MALE when it is supposed to be FEMALE.. i was able to go to Australia without any problem using this BC, i just used an Affidavit of DISCREPANCY and gave me the visa... i'm just a little bit worried this time because it is USEM.. (it will take a year to correct this discrepancy) Anyone here who had the same experience? Can i still provide an Affidavit of Discrepancy during my interview? Any advice will be much appreciated! Thanks a lot!

  16. Sorry I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm having trouble searching for the answer. My NOA1 was received by VSC on April 12. I got an RFE after 5 months, and it has been 6 weeks since they received my response to it. Still no NOA2. I'm very unhappy about this.

How do I ask this to be sped up, or do I have to wait for 60 days for RFE response to be processed?

we got the same problem.. we got our RFE after 5 months... (another petitioner's biographic data and evidence of ongoing relationship) we just sent back ours Oct. 7... fiance just called USCIS just to check if the receive our reply... and they said they already have it and that it is still pending... and our approval depends on the case handler... i just hope our case handler will be kind enough to approve ours as soon as possible...
