  1. Hi guys,

We finally made it. I am in New York and we got married. Now we're filing for AOS. I have a question and I need help as soon as possible. When I had my interview appointment in Italy my fiance filled out the I-130 and also I-864 (just in case). At the embassy they didn't it so we thought we could use it now for AOS. The problem is that the date in those I-864 is October 2011. Is that ok? We just didn't want to start over since it's there ready for us.

    Thank you

  2. Hello friends,

We finally have an interview date...fiinally after all this time of waiting. The thing is that I would like to be prepared and not be sent home.

We are having a co sponsor. It will be my fianceè's uncle and his wife. I have read a lot about co sponsors and forms but will someone just give the an exact list of the forms and other supplemetar documents that we need.

    Thank you

  3. Hello VJ friends!

We got our NOA 2 September 9th so we were advised to start gathering paperworks as soon as possible. I live in Italy but grew up in Albania so my parents got my birth certificate and criminal records, translated and notarised. Now the thing is for how long are they valid? Some people say three some people say 6 months. I'm kinda confused.

THank you and have a great week.

  4. Well as a foreign student I've been throught italian bureaucracy for many many issues, and I had promissed that once I was done with school I would just go back home and be done with visa and stuff like that, well last year I graduated, yay, finally, you know it takes a lifetime to finish a triennale..:P

My plan was crashed by this american boy..:P I know everything will be fine, I'm actually starting to miss Florence already. I'm glad you made and thank you so much for your help. Hope I can be that helpful to other people once I'm done.

  5. Thank you so much. I have another question but I actually don't want to start a new topic about that..:P

I am a student here in Italy and I have never asked to have a residenza, (I'm originary from Albania. But now the point is that to have the "Carichi pendenti" certificate you need to have a residency, carta di indentità. Oh well I went to the Florence comune and applied for that, which will take like a month or so.

So stressful. I hope they will not schedule my interview before I get my certificates. What do you think...?!

    Thank you
