Greetings all We have come to a fork on the road where I think it is best to not waste anymore of eachothers time and let it all go after a years time invested. We just dont understand eachother anymore and since he got his new job, family was no longer priority. How do I cancel the k1 while its already at the embassy?

It's actually quite possible that many VJers have been together for a long time living in the non-USCs country before deciding to move to the US

Last October was 20 years since I met my husband - we have been in the same country for 15 of those years, nearly 7 years in the US

I wanted to thank you all for your responses...its really nice to read something positive coming from people on visajourney. Wow!! I didnt know this site was less than 10yrs old. I understand that marriage takes work and dedication but,it would really be nice to see those thriving in their marriages through this process visit this site just to encourage those that are still in the process or have been deceived through this process. Life is not easy no matter what we're pursuing but people need people.

Are there any 15,20 or 30yr old successful marriages through this process on this site? These relationships started in some type of love and ended in deception or pure disaster. I would love to read stories about thriving marriages(not perfect ones) that still have the same focus which is love and family....

Should I worry that its been 14days since the NVC received my file. Everytime I call they're saying its undergoing additional review....what does that mean exactly? My fiance has already done the medical & vaccinations, printed and filled out the forms.. :wacko:

I've been reading ahead and I would like to know when does the k-1 90days start? I read on the AOS section that the 90 days starts from the POE to the U.S but, there is an expiration date on our NOA2>>1june12. Should everything including the AOS filing be done by then???????

I met my ex husband here in the US back in 2002 and we married in 2003 And I filed for him to become a permanent resident through a lawyer. Im in the process of completing the I864 form to send to my fiance and Im not sure if I used this same form when I filed for my ex. I'm a little confused at this point. Should I include my ex husband as part of my household? According to the instructions divorce doesnt end the sponsorship obligations.

Please help!! I wouldnt want any further delays down the line.
