Is there a problem if I send the AOS and Package IV at the same time? How much longer until I will be scheduled for the interview after NVC received the AOS ?

Hello everyone,

Can anyone please tell if I can apply for IR 1 directly, after I received my I-130 approved? Do I still need to go through the K3 and then AOS( once in US) process or just apply for IR 1 directly?

I've been married for 2 years, my husband is a US citizen living with me in Romania. We plan to move permanently to US once I receive by immigration visa. We do not want to stay apart at all:)

Hi Lavi,

As a sugestion...maybe call the US embassy in Bucharest at 021-2003300 int.3519, 08:00 – 12:00. They should be able to answer your question. I would assume the Criminal Record you got it's fine, since the Romanian police only uses unique CNP number:).

If you find out, let me know also please:)...I will probaly need the Criminal Record soon too:)

Hello everyone! I am back with a question On the papers from the embassy it say about the criminal record that it has to be on all the names used after age of 16. I was married before and for profesional reasons, my work, kept the name of my exhusband. The thing is i went to the police and ask them if i can have a certificate/criminal record certificate on both names, maiden and the one i have now, and they said no, it is not possible that in Romania. Normaly I should not have a problem at the interview but... to be sure i ask, does anyone know anything about this? Thank you for the answers and infos!
