  1. Just follow your interview letter. You have to take medical report in person along with other documents. We need not to submit anything to VFS. If some one know more about this please respond.

hi your interview is tomm, once you are done can you tell me what question were asked?

i am so nervous for my interview....

My priority date 5th Oct 2010

    Interview Date 11th Feb 2013

    pls god be with us...

  2. Thanks for your reply!!!

My Priority Date Oct 5th 2010

My mom had the same problem... She didn't had Birth Certificate at all. Ma grand Parents lost the certificate. So my uncle just asked for a new copy and they issued it in 2 weeks. May need some money to process things little bit faster. So don't worry!! Even though you might not have the documents ready they give you time after the interview to submit the documents.

In our case they asked for colored copy of naturalization certificate of my uncle, who petitioned for us. And we submitted that document after the interview. So Chill

And as far as I can think of if your passport has the same information as that of your birth certificate there should not be any problem..

  3. Hi Andromeda,

Thank you so much for getting back.., Atleast some one replied to my question...

My relatives in india are going to try first on their own and if they need me then i will have to go . i have no choice...

Thank you just pray for me everything gets sorted out very quickly as time seems short now.

I'm not sure how it works in India. But in China, Government's public service can be very bureaucratic. Usually people need to follow up very frequently in person to push such things corrected, even though it was the government's original mistake. If you send them a letter, 99% chance they'll simply ignore it.

I had been through similar situations three years ago on getting a non-criminal record. It was painful long process wasting me 6 months after my PD date passed! Fortunately I finally found the right person to get it fixed, completed NVC filing and interviewed in consulate. Right after I landed in the US in December, there was a huge scary retrospective back of cut-off date. At that point, I was so grateful that I didn't waste a single day...

Given that experience, I would personally suggest you fly back and make them correct it right away in person, even though it cost some $2,000 flight. If greencard is important to you, it definitely worths the money and time to get it fixed immediately, cz we never know what's going to happen tomorrow.

  4. Hi Everyone,

I had a question My priority date is Oct 5th 2010 and my case is not completed yet me and my husband are still collecting docts and we are doing all this through a lawyer.

we did submit my originals to the lawyer recently and were almost going to submit the form online when the lawyer realized that on my birth certificate my father last name is missing and only his middle name is there which is nowhere on my passport or other docts.

So my lawyer as asked to get the birth cert amended and i am here in Vancouver and i was born in India ..i am not sure how long this process will take and wen will i get the birth cert amended as the process is really slow there. and i am just 2 or 3 mnths away from my priority date to be current . My case is not even completed..

Has anyone gone thru this like me. I am so worried , how will i manage to do all this last minute. and plus i guess it takes lot of time for case to be completed.

Can someone pls address my concerns..

I guess Dec 2012 priority will move until Aug 22nd 2010 but i hope it goes even further than what i am guessing.

My priority Date 5th Oct 2010

  5. Congratulations to people who have recvd interview dates!!! I am so happy for you all :)

Please PRAY for me now...i hope by end of this year i will be with my husband....

i had a question is it that after the fiscal year there will be a retrogression or because of the increase in no. of applications. after August... i don't want that to happen...please pray for me......

My Priority Date is 6th Oct 2010

  6. Even my priority date is 6th October 2010. I can just pray...

No idea when will we be current..Visa bulleting is very unpredictable.

For July i think it will move until Feb 8th 2010....i have a feeling they will move 2010 priority dates very slowly due to high volume of applications. but i pray it moves much faster.

My Wifes PD is Oct 2010 ....if i see teh archived bulletin it shows that most of 2010 was current in 2010 starting june..any updates on that ??

  7. hi everyone,

priority date but when is the case completed? and also if the priority is current and case is not completed is there a problem?? should we get in touch with our lawyer to follow up for our case completion??

once the priority dates becomes current in how much time appprox u get an interview date??

    awaiting for your replies....

    Thanks

My priority date is 06Oct 2010

  8. My gut feeling says that there should be a good bit of movement around June (summer). The PD's should be close to Aug-10 or so... keeping my fingers crosses!

Woww that would be gr8!! but how can you assume in summer it will move so fast... looking at the current speed its moving either a month or two?

but if that happens i will be the most happiest person in this world :0)
