It's been some time but I have great news, We have been approved and my fiancee will be arriving here in the states on December 15th. So happy we'll get to spend Christmas together. It's been a while so I'm updating for all the other hopeful VJers out there. I received a RFE which was easily resolved just didn't send original paperwork for a doc so easy fix. We received our NOA 2 on 8/1/2013 and I called the NVC once a week to see if our paperwork had arrived and I'm thrilled to say after almost a month I finally have my NVC case number. Just a matter of time before i'm with my beautiful girl again

Still awaiting our 2nd NOA. It's been 5 months now. From the forums it seems the 5 month mark is normal for waiting. If i haven't heard anything by the end of May I guess i'll try my luck calling the USCIS
