Reading the link above and just have a question about the Barcode. It says to enter our case number. Will our case number remain the same as throughout the process or will the NVC assign a new case number? I vaguely remember reading somewhere (but I've read so much I can't seem to pin it down) that NVC would assign a new case number. Is this accurate?

Hey all! Hope everyone is doing well. I noticed that someone put a post on the Gambia Consulate Review that for those who have their interview in Senegal they can use Dr. Jones in Gambia for their medical. I was just curious if you have more information about this doctor and if this post is really true. I know previously when I emailed the embassy in Dakar they said that medical would have to be completed by one of the two local doctors there. If my husband could complete his medical in Gambia that would be much easier for him. Thanks for the information!

I havent heard of this but I am sure you can email the US Embassy in Banjul to get an answer! Best of Luck

Another hint a friend of mine here in VJ gave me, at least that's how it works with the Colombian Consulate (it may apply to others as well): If you get a Case Completed before the 15th of the month there is a chance you could get schedule in the current availability list for that month, but if your case is Completed after the 15th of the Month you have to wait for the following month's list of available interviews

I really hope thats how that works cause my case was complete on the 14th.. fingers crossed

Sorry maam we ONLY schedule during the second week of each month. Call back in April. Thats a LIE. I call you back Monday...lol...i read Saylin post & I must say shes been on point!!! 'They schedule interviews ALL month long. Many people (like myself) have gotten scheduled during the last week of the month. I repeat, they schedule ALL month long.' Enjoy your weekend Vj Fam!!!

Is it common to have the IV form completed before the AOS ( I sent the AOS two days before the IV form )

Im glad I just read that post, I just called and they verifed the phone number and the site of interview! And he actually said they recvd my packages!!!

AS if this process is already not long enough, confusing and draining today i get a checklist cover letter wfheck am i suppose to do... when i mail the package i did enclosed the barcode but i didnt write my case number at the top of my paper but they were placed in a clear protect together and stapled..... please help me , i am losing my mind... please let this process end Sooooon with my hubby comeing home

Yes but they keep saying its in the building and it takes 20 days to be entered
