  1. Hello! My invitation letter, the one showing my case/invoice #, (that # starts with CDJ....) didn't arrive right away to me, actually it arrived first to my fiancée, he typed it for me so I could start checking on the links in there, What you need to file DS-260 online are you Invoice# and Beneficiary #, those you can get over the phone at the NVC which ph# is 603-334-0700, eventually my own invitation letter arrived...about 30 days later, but I already had a copy of the one my boyfriend got.Hope it helps

  2. Hi Mariana17! After I did receive from my boyfriend the news about receiving NOA2 I waited for us to receive the so called "Invitation letter" or "package #4", which happens to be a letter from the Juarez Consulate where it refers you to the websites where you can register to set up an appointment: http://mexico.usvisa-info.com. Also you need to submit form DS-260 at www.immigrantvisas.state.gov, to do that you need to have a Mexican passport #. You will get a confirmation # that you have to use to make your payment (go back to mexico.usvisa-info.com to pay or get a print out that you can use to pay at the bank as I did, using cash) Once you make your payment, you will be able to schedule an appointment. Forms DS-156 in duplicate and DS-156K are neccesary also. Check that at: www.ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html. You will have also to gather some numbers from the NVC (I had to call twice since I didn't really know what I needed the first time, you need Invoce #, Beneficiary #) It is hard to figure it out at the beggining, I was so confused! While you get the invitation latter you can start compiling info like proof of relationship, birth certificates, I-134 supporting evidence (taxes and letter from employer, etc.) Check for people filing in Mexico here at Visajourney since processes are diffent for every country. You will have to schedule your own appointment, once you pay, an option to pick your date is available at the website, I only saw appointments for 7 15 am, so I guess that is when they get K-1 applicants. Hope I'm not getting you scared with all the info! Good luck!

  3. Hi everyone! This is for somebody that has brought kids under 7 y.o. to the medical in Cd. Juarez, I have already an interview scheduled at the Consulate for 08/28th. I knoe that for T.B. test I need to bring my kid at least 4 days before interview, can a test be done on a Friday and wait to get results until Monday, or will I be send back if I go on Friday to have the test done any other day? What I know is that they review the test at the third day, and by Monday it will be the fourth day.

  4. Hello Carta V:

When I was first able to check at the usvisa-info.com website I didn t have the payment yet and it said there was an appointment in 10 days, once I made the payment and went back it gave me the chance to look at the calendar and the closest day was within 11 days, but many days were available, just wait until your payment gets posted and review the whole calendar away, I was able to see the calendar with appointments available in the whole next month, not anything beyond that. Hope it helps.

  5. Hello everyone! I though I had asked this yesterday, but I was not able to find my post. Is it neccesary to bring the medical results to the biometrics appointment? I will get my exam and most likely the results on 08/24th, for that day I have the biometrics appointment, but my daughter need a TB test and I will not have her results the same day, I'm using the Juarez ACS and Consulate, thank you for any info.

  6. Hi! Along with your NVC # that is the one starting with the CDJ and the #, you will need an Invoice #, that will be neccesary to submit the DS-260 (visa appication) I got the CDJ# from the invitation letter from the Consulate, and I had to call NVC to get the Invoice # and Beneficiary #, that you need for the application itself. It was hard for me to figure out the whole process, but I actually was able to submit application this week, make the payment and schedule an interview for the end of next month, now I need to work on putting everything together for the interview. Link for the DS-260 submition is ceac.state.gov/iv. Link for scheduling appointment is usvisa-info.com, for this last one you don't need to have the application submitted, you can start by registering yourself. Hope it helps.

  7. Hello! For people waiting in Mexico for the "invitation letter", my boyfriend's copy took just a few days to arrive, mine about a month, but do not worry if you don't get one, have the letter received to be scanned and sent, I have heard from people here in Mexico never receiving one and going to the appointment with a copy of the one received in the US. I have my boyfriend typing the letter (he couldn't scann it right away) then I just followed instructions, everything is going fine so far, yesterday I was able to schedule my appointment for the end of August.

  8. Hi everyone! I need to know if somebody have extended the 4 months on which I can go to the interview. The expiration date on the approval is August 16th, but even when I am ready right now to schedule an appointment, I might need more time to get ready to travel to Cd. Juarez. Any idea if I will have any problem by scheduling for after the 16th?

  9. Hi Carla! I also had to wait for my Mexican passport to be issued so I could process the D-260 online, when I went to usvisa-info.com and registered myself, I was able to see that there is an appointment available in 9 days, the next day it said there was one in 10 days, you can not actually see the calendar until after you have a DS-260 submitted, but it gives you an aproximation of the next. available interview date.

  10. Hi everyone! Hopefully somebody here can help me. After having ready DS-260 for me and daughter (applying for K-1, K-2 visa) I was able to sign and submit application, got a confirmation print out for my daughter, but I haven't been able to get my own application going through. After clicking on the Sign and Submit I get no response, at all, I ve tried many times since yesterday, left it alone and tried over today...nothing. What puzzles me is how my daughter application did go through while mine not, any idea?

  11. Hi! I think the birth certificates you need are the ones you can get from the Registro Civil, from what I understood from the Juarez Consulate instructions you need a notarized birth certificate only is is not in English or Spanish. Here is the point 2. "Original applicant’s birth certificate (applicants with non-English or non-Spanish birth certificates must submit a notarized translation with the original" Hope it helps you

  12. Hello everyone!
