  1. ok so right now I'm just in part one of the file which mean I just send in the I-130 for CR-1 Visa, so when they send me the first Notice of Action letter then how long will it take to know when my file get approve? I read the instruction for CR-1 it say after my I-130 is approve they will send it to the NVC and the NVC will send us a package, so does they send the package to both of us or just me? Also should I get this form Of-169 form, and an Of-230 part one and two forms now or do I wait for the NVC to send it with the package? Ok for the Pre-Interview Form it contain...

    Pre-Interview Forms / Items:

    1. Completed and signed OF-169.

    2. Completed and signed Of-230 Part 1 and 2 forms.

    3. I-864 Affidavit of Support Form along with past 3 year U.S tax returns (or transcripts) and any other financial documents required.

    4. A copy of intending immigrants biographic page of passport(s) including expiration date.

    5. Original or certified "long" birth certificate. *

    6. Original adoption decree. (if applicable)

    7. Marriage certificate. (if applicable)

    8. Divorce decree(s) or death certificate(s) (if applicable)

    9. Police certificate(s) **

    10. Court and prison records.(if applicable)

    11. Custody records. (if applicable)

    12. Military records (if applicabl

I don't understand what you have to get for number 4, so all of this will be sent in as a package to me and my wife right? For the Birth Certificate do I need to get the original copy from all of the person I put on the application? Like my father, mother, sister/brother or just me? As for number 10 Court and Prison records do I need to get this? Because I never went to a prison for any crime but only went to court for ticket violation does that count too? What is Custody Records number 11? Like I say do I get all this stuff on my owned or do they send me a package requiring what I needed? Like the form OF-169 and OF-230 and I-864 does it come with the package or do I need to get it on my owned? Thank You all :)

  2. JohnnyX sir,

I think everybody have said enough. You were given all the answers that you could get. You have given websites where you can check every info you need, all you have to do is read them and understand. If you are going to hire a lawyer, it would be better to ask him/ her you are going to pa for that anyway. So please stop asking questions over and over because people would answer the same and you are not paying attention to them.

It will just disappoint everyone and could lead to misjudgment towards you.

sorry I'm just a bit confuse

  3. Hey guys I have prepared some evidence for the interview to give to the Dich Vu here is what I have so far. If I'm missing anything else let me know ok.

    1. Airplane Ticket from my previous trip

    2. My wedding picture, My picture taking with her going to place

    3. The receipt of all the money that send to her every month

    4. Yahoo Messenger Chat Log History

That all I have will that be enough for proof? For the communication between us that is what we use we chat online via Yahoo Messenger we don't use Skype or phone each other. Therefore I'm afraid they want a phone bill so will it be ok if I just print out the messenger chat log and give it to them?

  4. OP you should definitely get a dich vu because you seemingly don't know a single thing about this process or even have the capacity to read simple instruction. i'd be surprise if you can even differentiate between fiance and fiancee.

yeah your right that is what I'm doing right now. I already hire a Dịch vụ for this, I just want to know about what type of evidence I should prepared for my wife for the interview.

  5. The interview can be an easy one or a difficult one. It depends on the amount of red flags you have. Make sure your fiance knows everything about you. You never know what questions the CO will ask.

In regards to have a kid to pass the interview, all I will say about that is spend less time listening to those "people" and spend more time reading the Visa Journey forums for advise.

sweet thank a lot. You say she should know everything about me? Does that include my relative living in the USA as well as my family side too.

  6. What type of evidence should I start preparing for the interview as for the timeline where do I get that or they give it to you? Do I need to show them the whole wedding album or just some picture from the album? The other picture I have with her is mostly with family in it too well may be some alone. Does that count too? As for communication between the two of us I use Yahoo Messenger and chat with her, so should I save those chat log and print it out and give it to them as evidence? Some people say to email or use skype but my wife she doesn't know how to email or use skype. What the different with using Yahoo Messenger or Skype does it have to be from Skype? We don't use phone much mostly went online and chat via yahoo Messenger. I also have the ticket plane as evidence for my trip. Is there any other evidence I should show them? Also I bought her some necklace and have the receipt should I keep that as evidence?

For the Timeline what is that? Where do I get that?

  7. I-134 is required when filing for a k1/k3 visa at interview time (I-129F route).

I-864 Is sent to USCIS before the interview for CR-1 ( I-130 route).

If you do a search on visa journey for "I-134 vs I-864" you will a lot more information.

    Good luck!

which form is faster K3 or CR-1? What is the different between this two? I know for the CR-1 your wife will be Legal Permanent Citizen while the K3 you only get the Green Card right?

  8. According to 2012 I-864 guidelines for a household size of two, 125% is 18,912.00. If you support your parents that would be a household of 4 then the 125% amount would be 28,812.00.

oh LOL hell no I just live with then I don't support them, so in my case since I don't have kid then I only need to support for my wife yes? That mean I only need a household size of two right?

As far as we know, money in the bank is not as important as your meeting of the 125% poverty guidelines.

    I see cool

  9. ok as for the Supporting Evidence it say you need to submit A. Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details regarding the account: 1. Date account opened 2. Total amount deposited for the past year 3. Present balance. As for this part what if you only have $2000 in your bank or does it matter at all? Like some one say the NVC will most likely be looking at your W2 and Tax Return that is what important he say. Then whether you have a lot of money save up or not in your bank doesn't matter right?

  10. -0-

No money is required to be in a bank, nor are you required to know what a bank IS. You are required to have a means to support your wife. A job serves nicely for the purpose.

well I thought you suppose to have like a certain amount of money in your bank in order to sponsor for your spouse. As for a job yes I have that, but I'm just curious that all but I already read the I-134P poverty guideline already.

  11. Be prepared to show 2010 or 2011 Tax Returns over $19,000.00. For a Couple of 2.

If that requirement is not met and no job. Be prepared to show approximately $ 59,000.00 in checking/savings. (Where did you read $5000.00/$10,000.00) Thats OK. Its Confusing

ok my Tax Returns for 2011 is 22K so is that ok? as for the 59K does mean if you don't have a job but do other job like Nail then you would need at lease 59K in your checking/saving right?

  12. If you earn enough money then you dont need to fill out Part 7 of the I-864 which is the assets (e.g Money in Bank, Stocks.) In order to know if you earn enough money go ahead and check the I-864P which is the poverty guideline.

The main thing NVC looks at is your current income (W2 and Federal Income Tax return for the year 2011) thats the most important thing.

If you dont met the minimum income, no worries, you can always get a co-sponsor if you dont have that much money in your bank.

What is the miniumm income? How much is it? I make about 20 K - 21 K for my 2010 income tax is that enough or do I need a co-sponsor?

I'm sorry, I left out Currant Income with proof. Paystubs etc. Recent ...

Good Luck to both of us. :)

what do you mean by current income with proof, paystubs etc... what is all that?

  13. How much money will I need to have in my bank in order to sponsor my wife? I heard some people say around $5,000 - $10,000 is that right? What will they be looking at? Your income tax right? Money in the bank right? If it not $5,000 then does any one know exactly how much you would need in order to bring your wife here?

  14. Hello all I just recently got married last year, and I just started on the I-130 but my question is focus on the interview. I'm asking all the one who has done this would be kind enough to share your experience with me on the interview. Below is some question on the interview.

    1. What do they ask your wife/husband during the interview?

    2. How long does the interview last?

    3. What does the color of each paper mean? Which one mean she pass?

    4. How many question will they be asking your wife/husband?

  15. What kind of paper you want to do? and what Dich Vu you will hire? You want apply marriage visa? fiance visa? or what? I don't understand your question.

I'm living in Tacoma, WA. I did my paperwork already and completed my route. I can help some ideas if possible, but you need to say in details.

I'm hiring a Dich Vu in Seattle they called Hoang Cau, and I'm applying for marriage visa. I'm living tomorrow morning so I need to know what do I need to bring with me for the Dich Vu? Like my Naturalization of Citizenship, Passport (Me & Her), Birth Certificate (me & her), 2 passport picture one from me and from her and what else do I need to bring? Also for the evidence of me an her well all I have right now is picture from the wedding and engagement, and picture of me and her alone. I also have receipt of money that I send to her every month from last year does that count? I don't any evidence of email or messenger or phone communication with her, because I use phone card called Nguyen Ngoc Ngan (V247) last year to contact her but there is no bill or statement. Now I'm just starting to communicated with her through messenger I save all the chat log will that work or they need it before we are marry?

  16. Hey guys please I need help real quick. I'm leaving to Seattle to do the paper work tomorrow with the Ḍich Ṿu and I called them today, but the person who is suppose to do this type of paper work is off. Right now I need to know what do I need to bring with me beside the Certificate of Marriage or what ever you called, so beside that what else do I need to bring with me for the Ḍich Ṿu for the first step. Do I need to bring my birth certificate and my wife birth certificate, and passport from both of us and what else is there? Please help me what do I need to give bring to give them, I call them today but the person that suppose to do this is off :( please I neeed helpppp. THANK YOU

  17. How long is the medical exam good for? Is there an expiration date on the medical exam? I know the single status documents are only good for three months. Does Vietnam place a similar requirement on the mental / medical exam?

Not sure about that but I'm going to do mine in VN because my mom friend have Dich Vu (Service) do all the paper work for her husband but they didn't accept the physical/mental exam so it will be pointless and would be a wasted of money and time as well.

  18. 1 month on paper...if EVERYTHING is in place. One tiny mistake can easily tack on more time, and depending on the mistake, if the mistake is serious on your single status, then you may have to have it redone in the states. I should point out that a mistake is what they consider a mistake, not necessarily what you consider a mistake.

You should be able to submit everything else first, and the medical later, but really, it's up to the stp.

I see I will have to ask my wife to ask the STP in her province first.

I am not certain where to go here, but many people have gone to the family doctor and the exam was not accepted. I think it's because the exam is a mental exam, not a physical exam, not a family doctor's specialty. I heard that you can go to certain hospitals, I personally didn't go this route, but the dich vu that I used said that I had to go to a certain place, not just a family doctor.

You can still use the mobile notary to go back and have the doctor resign the form (in general, the signature must be done in the presence of the notary).

guess I have to do the Mental Exam in VN then yeah because what I have with the doctor was a physical exam so this won't work. Like you say I can submit all of my other paper first then the medical later then that I will do.

  19. I would think it's better for you to do physical exam in VN and turn in the same time. Like I mention it only take less than 20 minutes. You should do that first day when you arrive in VN.

Since you are staying in VN for 6 weeks, and I think you should be good to go.

    Good luck.

The Marriage Certificate take 4 week to process right? If the province where my wife reside accept power of attorney then can I submit all of my other paper through my wife and power of attorney a week or two before I go back and when arrive in VN I could just take the Medical Exam and turn it in to updated my file. Will they accept that or I would have to wait for my Medical Exam and submit all the paper work at the same time?
