  1. I am sorry for your situation

However, your mother will have to show how she must return to PI, not why she must travel to the US. Although the letter is good, her ties to PI will carry more weight

    Good luck

thank you for the inputs dear... ohhh yahhhaaa, sad thing is that, the only ties she got is she has to go back because my dad still in the Philippines... I guess I will just pray for a kind heart of the consul huh? thank you so much... God bless you my dear;-)

  2. Did you come across this page, in the website? http://manila.usembassy.gov/expedited-appointments.html

I think the letter from your doctor would be a great help. And I hope that the consul would understand your need to have your mother to be with you. I wish you all the best.

yes I did, I've been browsing this website, thank you so much dear... I hope so too that the consul will be that understanding on my situation... God bless dear;-)

  3. First of all I am very sorry you have to undergo such major surgery. I'd really hope that your mom will get the visa. A letter from your doctor should help but your mom should gather whatever she can to prove that she will return to the Phillippines after your surgery.

I don't know how her chances are of getting the visa, but it sure isn't impossible.

I am sorry I can't be of any help here but I certainly wish you all the best!

Thank you so much my dear for the kind words... God is bigger than my tumor... God bless you always ;-)

  4. Hi everyone!!! I'm a new member of this site, I heard good things about this site so I joined to solicit opinions and suggestions.

I'm a filipina, married to USC. I've been here in the U.S for 1year and 10months already through K-1/ Fiancee Visa. Now, I have to undergo major surgery(LUNG TUMOR) pretty soon(don't have the schedule yet). I wanted to get my mom in the Philippines. Can she process expedited visa? I really don't know the process, but I have been reading at USEMBASSYMANILA site. She will have retirement checks next year, currently she stays at home, and she doesn't have a fat bank account or any properties or what not that they seem to want from a tourist for evidence or ties to go back to your country. She will leave my dad for a couple of months just to be with me. We will send the letter from my doctor to my mom. Is there any chance that they will give my mom a visa? thank you guys for corresponding. God bless!!!
