Today 12/21 Mei arrived at Guangzhou Embassy to drop off the required paperwork. She said they took all the paperwork, then asked her the folling questions:

1. Are you CCP?

2. Have you ever been CCP?

3. Have you ever been to America?

4. Have you ever been to Hong Kong?

5. Do you want to speak English or Chinese for your interview tomorrow?

My fiancee will have the interview on Dec 22, and we are both so excited to finally at this stage in the process. Looking forward to receive her text message on Wednesday night

So excited to see my fiancee Mei again this week in Shanghai. This time I will get to meet her parents and relatives in person. Good opportunity to also take more pictures. We will also try to get some professional engagement pictures done. Also would like to get a nice picture in China with mei and I for our Xmas cards. Hopefully the P4 will arrive this week so we know the interview date. Happy and safe holidays to everyone

After calling the automated system and receiving the message "File has not been received" for more than a week I decided to actually talk to a person. They said the petition arrived October 25th, and sent out to Guangzhou on the 27th. Quick turn around time at NVC. The automated system does not get updated as quickly. It is recommended to talk to a live person.

Just received the text message from VSC "Your Case is now updated". I could not wait to run inside and check the e-mail and website "I-129F Approved" It was so nice to be able to call my Fiancee' after checking the e-mail and being able to tell her the I-129F has been approved in 3 months 10days. VSC you rock!!!!!!!! Thank You
