06-24-2011 AOS+EAD application sent
06-27-2011 Packet received
07-07-2011 Bio metric Appt received in the mail (07-29-2001 for AOS and 08-04-2011 For EAD )
07-17-2011 Received RFE (immigrant did not include his Birth Certificate) True, I didn't know I had to!
07-29-2011 Bio metric and finger prints for both applications (No need to go twice)
08-16-2011 I sent back RFE
08-19-2011 Office received my RFE with the missing document
08-26-2011 Received an e-mail EAD in Production
08-29-2011 Received an e-mail EAD in Production AGAIN!
09-01-2011 Received an e-mail that a notice regarding EAD production has been sent in the mail
Today 09-02-2011 Waiting for my card!
AOS Interview question
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas

Hello Everybody,
I have a couple of questions, I'll have my interview on Oct-24 at 9AM, and I'm wondering if I need to have my original birth certificate (I am the beneficiary). Because it is still in my home country, my relative only sent me a copy of the birth certificate and its translation to English in an e-mail? If so, I will have to ask to be sent to here ASAP. My second questions is, can I go for the interview earlier? I just started my job and I'd rather not taking to much time off from the beginning. Finally, if anybody has any general advice about the interview please feel free to add any input, I'll appreciate that!
