They received our application on 7/24/12 (or close to that date). Today we looked up the status and it showed approved 2/13/13!!! Almost 7 months for us! I hope you all hear good news soon.

Congrats! How was the atmosphere in Juarez? I heard most of the police force was in hiding for the month of February?

Did any of that affect you or your spouse?

I wasn't there. His hotel was a walk from the consulate and because of what we have heard he pretty much left for his appointments and came back to his room. Everyone at the hotel was very nice. He checked in with me everytime he left and came back to put me at ease. He also took the safer cabs from the airport and used the same person to go back. I am grateful everyone went so smoothly for him.

My fiance's interview was scheduled for 7:15 (9:15 est) this morning in Juarez. I finally recieved a call from him at 11:00am. He said they were very nice, asked him about 5 questions and approved him! This is one of the happiest days of my life! Thank you everyone in this website as i used it frequently to prepare for everything and it is extremely helpful!

I received a letter addressed to my fiance today stating his visa case is now ready for processing. It has instructions for him to go online to schedule an ASC and consular interview. How soon is this scheduled and does anyone know if he is going to get a package or is everything done online? I have obtained letters from my bank but they are dated January 4th. I'm afraid I got them too early. I also have an affidavit of support, a letter from my job, paystubs, and another letter of intent to marry with today's date. Am I going to need to send him anything else? I think I am just panicking because I don't want to miss anything.

I just received an email stating ours was approved today. NOA1 was received on 9/3/11 by Texas and sent to VSC. Hopefully you will hear something soon.
