Emailed the pakistani embassy 2 weeks ago and haven't heard from them since, i really wish they were a little more consistent with getting back at people!

I had a question, my husband's interview is in december, the letter says to take the "most recent" tax returns if we filed an i864 but i already did that on nvc step. will they ask for it again at the interview?

i dont think going to the embassy will do any good...Im just going to wait till the 6 months mark and maybe send them an email or something...alot of males are taking up to 6 months so lets see

i really hope so, we're almost at 7 months now and my flight to leave is on sunday and i still haven't heard anything for my husband's visa...it'll be so hard if i have to come back alone, hopefully this is it, i call the embassy and you can actually find out when your case was last updated from them

I sent copies of all the documents which I had submitted to nvc with my husband for the interview and pictures from our wedding and also proof of ongoing relationship which included call records etc. Although they didn't need anything from him but they did ask to see our pictures. Its better to take copies of everything to the interview with you, you never know what they need. Good luck!

i think it should've made a difference that you were there for the interview, and no its been a week since i've heard from them. Although i sent the email on the 27th of feb and i called DOS yday and asked them when the last update was and she told me the 27th, so maybe its because of the email? not sure...but Im not going to email again hopefully they can reply to this one..

i understand, it totally crushes me...but just stay strong this is only temporary inshAllah it will be over soon keep me updated!
