Hi I'm new and also from Las Vegas. Congrats!. I noticed you filed your I-129F in California.
Hmmm, however, the new I-129F that I have downloaded only allows mailing to Dallas, TX (for U.S.Postal Service)
or Lewisville, Tx (for express mail and courier deliveries). Is this something new for the year 2012?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
hi emilio...Thanks!!!!
TX is the address you mail it to...then USCIS will forward it to its designated service center...in your case, it will be California
thank you everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! much love love love

Congrats! Can you post any of the questions she was asked? Thanks
mmmm, according to my fiance, a lot of the questions has to do with "us"....like how we met, when, when the last time we saw each other, when we started dating...
Im sure you will have easy questions too and will be granted a visa

Congratulations! And please keep us posted on how long it actually takes to receive the visa. I've read reports from a few days to several weeks. My Pinay and I are interested in that for sure.

My fiance had his interview today and got approved! woot woot!!! ***happy dance, happy dance*** I know the process isnt over, but the ultimate goal will be met, him and i will FINALLY be together.
This process has been extremely difficult... not so much on the paperwork, but the fact that it tested our patience, strength and love (we were victorious!!!).
What i learned from this: a thorough research of the process from beginning to end, before jumping into this, will save you lots of $$$ and headaches. (oh and dont f^%k with the government.)
i am sooo proud of my man, but we couldve not done this without the help of this site, with all the helpful tips and posts. THANK YOU!! *shakes hands, tight hugs*
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to call Elvis for our wedding... POE: VEGAS!
Much love,
Christian & Lovela

I have a question regarding Form I-134: Question #2, it's asking "...have resided in United States since...". I received my resident card in 1999 but i got a re-entry permit and went back to the Philippines. And then i came back in 2001, should I put 1999 or 2001?
-
thanks! i just dont understand why the first rep i talked to wasnt able to let me know about the RFE...that i have to speak to an "officer" to get that information. errrr!
-
So...today marks the 5th month of our i-129f collecting dust at someone's desk at CSC so i decided to call USCIS. i spoke to someone and he basically just told me what i was reading on their website "on June 3rd, 2011, we received...blah blah blah...initial review...blah blah blah". After much frustration, i asked for another representative who can give me more info (an officer), which i dont understand what the difference is. The "officer" told me that they sent me an RFE through mail on Oct. 27th, which i haven't received, and that if i dont receive it by Monday, i should call back. Now my question is, if thats true, how come my case status is stil at "initial review"? Was that just a lame way of getting me off the phone? ugh! i admit i was kinda rude lol...but i think its understandable if you have been waiting for so long.
Airline Ticket

not sure about other airlines but for Philippine Airlines, you need the following:
If the credit card owner is not part of the travelling party and is unable to present the credit card used, PAL also reserves the right to require the presentation of clear photocopies of the front of the credit card and the valid PHOTO ID of the credit card owner at the ticket collection point, upon check-in and in cases of reissuance, rebooking and/or refund. It shall be the responsibility of the credit card owner to ensure that the passenger(s) comply with the requirement.
got that off from their website
