      oh gosh, i was beating myself up for missing it. i didnt answer Part C # 2. i forgot to mark "no". I know it was very frustrating, but at the same time it was a relief knowing that they were working on our case. You will probably be getting your approval soon...no worries :)

      This is my experience lol. i called them twice right before my 5th month, and they kept telling me "initial review blah blah blah" and that i should call back AFTER the 5th month so they can put in a service request for me. But ive read someone's post saying that i should ask to be transferred to a tier 2. so i called again. i went through a rep, saying exactly the same "initial review" #######, then i asked to be transferred. He did transfer me, then the officer told me ...

      mmmm, im not sure about the service request... i never requested one. After reading some of the experiences vj members have, it seems like a delay tactic USCIS use. i wouldnt request one until you talk to an officer.

      yep! same number...they cant refuse you to be transferred if you ask. the tier 2 officers will just ask for basic infos just for verification. it sure did help me a lot by speaking with them so it doesnt hurt to try :)

      you might want to ask to be transferred to a tier 2 officer. they can give you more details re your case. Cause the reps (the first ones to answer) will just read whatever its on their website. But you have to let them know to transfer you though. :/ idk, that might help. Good luck! hoe you'll get yours soon

    so, the first ever response i got from USCIS was, the RFE was sent to me on Oct. 27th. When i didnt receive it, i called again, and they said Nov. 4th. I just got the letter and it was dated Nov. 7th. LOL!

      thanks! i hope you'll receive yours soon also.:) im not sure how accurate some users' posted dates are..but there's plenty of July's, and even Septembers' getting their NOA2's already!!! errrr! not fair :(

    looks like they have started to process Philippine june filers lol. "delay", "late", "Philippines/filipino" seem like have the same meaning. just joking. idk if it has something to do with the home country of the beneficiary. On a brighter note, it made us hopeful we're getting ours soon! ^_^
