I opted for my passport to be delivered to Ottawa, and I kept seeing the tracking say undeliverable at Dorval for the las 3 business days, so I call Loomis (which is DHL but for domestic parcels in case anyone else is as confused as I was)and they said it was ready for pick up in Dorval. When I explained it had to go to Ottawa, she said that's not what they had on record, and if I wanted it in Ottawa, I would have to email the consulate to change it. As soon as I heard that, I was like forget it. It took the consulate 3 weeks to get back to me for my first question. lol... So off I go to Montreal again (hopefully for the last time!!) The Loomis number I used was great! It was 1-855-256-6647.

Ic that seems to be happening a lot recently, Montreal saying they sent it but the packet never showing up! the packet is on the website though, you need your medical and police cert and long form birth cert etc for the interview.
Montreal us embassy really needs to get their act together ! shesh.
Agreed! So I followed the links, and this is what I keep getting...
http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/eula
Which says...
"The page you were looking for doesn't exist.
You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved."
I'm wondering if because I filled out a DS-260 the courier setup is different.

Generally you cannot pick it up at the consul, they have not been doing this lately unless you have an emergency and need it right away. You can try though.
You must use DHL, they do not deliver with any other system anymore.
Reminder As instructed in the “instruction packet” (Pkt3) that you received, please make sure to register with the CSC for courier services at http://canada.usvisa-info.com/. Make sure to use your MTL number on all correspondence you return to the Consulate as well as providing us with an email address.

I think that is the problem... My husband and I didn't get PKT3. We waited and didn't hear from USCIS so we contacted them to see what was next, supposedly our pkt 3 was sent to us- we just didn't receive it. So the rep on the phone told us our next steps- paying the fees and to fill out the DS-230 and I-864 (which after spending about 4hrs on the DS-230 and submitting it, we were told a week later via email to submit a DS-260 instead) LOL...
So thank you so much for your help.

Hey There!
My interview is this Wednesday in Montreal, and I still have a few questions that I haven't had a reply back from and was hoping someone here could help.
I was given my date and time (obviously) after submitting my DS-260... My question is where do I register with DHL?? I've been reading I have to come with a pre-done envelope to the interview... But the only place where I could have missed this info is on the US Department of State page, where it asks you to choose your consulate and then click on the tab to get specific info on that consulate, but every time I have tried it, nothing happens. I'm wondering if anyone else is having that problem. I have the current version of Adobe, so I don't know what is going on. Can anyone who has experienced this or knows what to do please contact me...
Here is the link I am talking about... http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3742.html
And also, if I chose not to register will this effect me later on when I revise my status, and also can I just go pick it up at the consulate when it is ready instead of registering with DHL?
Trying not to stress too much.. lol, but it doesn't seem to be working...
Thank you so much for your time!
Waiting for GC/SSN but received a I797C instead?!?
in USCIS Service Centers

Hey There,
I had my CR1 visa approved on Aug 31, 2011 in Montreal. Received my passport, and POE package a couple days later, then arrived in the US on the 10th of September. Since then, I've been waiting for my GC and SSN to come in the mail. I received 2 envelopes today from USCIS, neither had either card in them, but instead 2 separate I-797C forms. One stating that USCIS had received my POE paperwork/Welcome Notice, and the other stating I would have to wait another up to 2 months for my cards. Is this delay normal?!? I had a friend who had her CR1 visa approved on the same day/same location and already has her GC/SSN.
Thanks in Advance!!
