  1. Hello jon&cess - I have read your post and noticed that your hubby only send his 2010 IRS? is this correct? I just want to ask this again though I already read it, just want to make sure. Me and my husband has been debating on this IRS thing, either we just send only the 2010 IRS, etc. This IRS is delaying our AOS package. Because I want my husband to send 2008,2009, and 2010 but my husband insist just to send the 2010. So for the meantime we are waiting for his 2008, 2009 to arrive in the mail. Thanks for your reply.

hi i only sent the IRS tax return for the most recent year since the other 2 years are optional and my case closed in less than a week. but every case is different, if you believe it will benefit you to have them in the packet then just wait for them. and when i ordered them from the IRS it took about 4-5 days for them to arrive.. good luck :)

  2. i sent my IV package and was delivered to NVC 7 /11/2011 (Monday) and now i'm waiting for the CC :):):):) usually does it take more than 1 week to review my package?

i believe it takes about 1-2 weeks to review the case and to see if there are any RFEs... god luck hope your case gets closed soon.. mine closed 11/3/2011 last thursday.. now just waitingg for an interview.. i think we might get a january interivew.. :)

  3. wow boiler, no need for harsh comments.. my husband also was brought as a child and he knew he was mexican and that he was here illegally but he didnt want to leave his family behind as that is something very hard and it is still hard for him being away from his family.. its not his fault that he was brought illegally but it is his fault that he stayed after turning 18, if my husband or i would have known that leaving to mexico before he turned 18 gave him a better chance then he would have definately left before turning 18 but we didnt know that until we got married and filing his paperwork.. but he is very honest... but back to trhe topic magical is very right.. juarez from what i have heard is pretty good with waivers. you have to prove hardships like medical reasons, financial reason, humanitarian reasons and how thisd would affect them or the child if his visa were to be denied.

  4. hi i am also doing the CR1 route, my husband was brought to USA as a child as well and his case was completed at NVC in less than 5months from filing the i130. my husband is going to do a wavier as well. when my husband has his interview in juarez of course they will deny him the visa but they will tell him if he is eligible to file a waiver. i have heard of alot of cases that have gotten approved the first time after filing the waiver. it is currently taking about a month after the interview to get the waiver appointment scheduled and then about 2-3 months to see if they approved it.. there is a forum for people who are just filing for mexico/juarez and they might be able to give you a better answer since alot of ppl there are going through or have recently gone through the waiver process in mexico.. people also post a copy of letters and waiver that were approved. i have hope that my husband will be here soon. when he gets his interview i will be in mexico with him and i wont leave mexico without him :).. im going to stay there through the waiver process.. the website is: www.smf.juarez-mexico.com..

  5. Grats again!

And don't listen to the operator when they say they only schedule during the second week each month. They schedule ALL month long. So even though you got your case complete yesterday, it's possible to have your interview scheduled today. Don't worry about "making it in time for next week".

well thats good to know so i am hoping i will know an interview sometime this month.. it is so exciting.. im exhausted!! i work on the computer all day at work and then when i get home i am on the computer all day lol!!

  6. ok here's my situation,

on 31 October 2011(last Monday) the NVC received my AOS package,

on Tuesday 1 November 2011 i paid the IV bill

yesterday 3 November i mailed the IV package but didn't reached the NVC yet

Today i call the AVR and the msg was that some documents are missing and they mailed me a checklist and it was generated on the 3 november

    QUESTIONS :

    a) The RFE for AOS PACKAGE IS DIFFERENT THAN IV PACKAGE ? i mean could it be this msg because they didn't received my IV package yet?

    b) the msg said that they mailed a checklist for the missing documents => do they send it also by email? because it will take 2 weeks to received by mail (LOL),

    c) at this time their is no operator to answer my call but if i called during business hours are they able to help me and tell me what are the missing documents ?

i would speake with an operator.. i believe they can tell you whats missing.. it could also be a false RFE.. good luck!! :)

    Thanks in advance guys :)

  9. " Dear Sir/Madam:

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

OMG does this mean my case is complete?? please help!! lol

  10. the i130 is the correct form to fill out if you are already married and the i129f is if you are trying to bring your fiance but the i129f to my understanding does not pertain to your case since you have already been married. if you have recieved a notice stating that your i130 has been approved then it will be forwarded to NVC (national visa center) where they will assign a case number and then you have to submit the ds230 and ds3032.. correct me if im wrong anyone

  11. do you know if they will send me an email if i get an RFE since i am doing everything electronically or do i have to call about it? i cant wait to see case closed :) i hope i dont get any RFEs, i am worried because as i sent the i864 packet and i noticed that on the g325a that i sent with the i130 i didnt put anything as far as working last year but i did work only for like 3 months, i guess i didnt remember that i worked when i filled out that G325A but i did include my tax transcipt from last year with the i864.. if i do get an RFE i hope its an easy fix..
